I watched "Hight Plains Drifter" a few nights ago and I was barely able to make it through the movie it was so terrible. But a few things about the story kind of bother me.

Was The Stranger just setting the town up as a form of revenge? What was the point of painting the buildings red? Why didn't any of the town's folk recognize him?

Am I asking to much to try and find meaning in the movie?

Okay, I know how to tie the noose itself. I've done it many times. What I'm trying to do now is tie a fake noose with loops that go around the waist or shoulders to support the body (so that it only looks like you're hanging by your neck). This is for Halloween. I've seen it in a couple of movies. Does anyone know how to do this?

I have a lot of like 30 or so children books ro put up on ebay.
i cant decide on wether to slip the books up into ten different ales, or keep them to gether.

Hi!
We are planning to go for scuba diving from Japan, where we plan to go over the new year.
The candidate places are Okinawa, Guam or Saipan which all are up to 3 hours away.

We are really interested to go to Okinawa, but
1. I read Japanese dive shops might not have large size wetsuit for my partner (>180cm).
2. I understand the language but not my partner.

Is it better to go to guam, saipan where he also can communicate(English)? Also the water seem warmer there....

I still think our first option is Okinawa so I need to be convinced.
Has anyody been diving in Okinawa (maybe on one of the american diveshops in Oki where they might have L size gear?)? What did you like? Which of the islands in Oki should I go for? Is January too cold?

The owner of a house paints this attic wall. There is a small rectangular window in the wall. The triangle's base is 4.2 metres and the height of the triangle is 4.5 metres. The base of the small rectangle is 60cm and the height is 150 cm. a) What is the area to be painted? Do you first find the area of the triangle and then you find the area of the rectangle? I dont get it? And please note that the base and height of the triangle is different than the base and height of the rectangle. And please explain so I can understand.

My boss told me to go buy her a sub, and I asked her what kind. She looked at me like she had no idea why I would ask such a question and then said "I don't know, just your regular, everyday run of the mill subs", the way she said it was really condesending. Wasn't that a pretty neccecary question??
