Men mess with your emotions to see how you react towards something. They sometimes don't mean to play with your emotions but actually grasp something from you. For example, They may say, wow that girl was hot, or whatever. They do that to see your reaction, if you are going to be jealous and emotional or would you not care.

You know this is a really interesting question and in some ways I totally agree with you. It's really sad that some people out there disrespect that special girl in their lifes so much. You know I've always made a point of making a woman feel like a woman and if that's old fashioned then so be it. To see them smile makes me feel like that happiest man in the world, and to make them happy and feel loved is the best thing a man can do.
It's really sad that some people think that they can just have them on command, keep their happy by playing them along, telling them what they want to hear. These girls NEED to understand that they're worth SO much more and that if they realise this then I'm sure that there's someone out there just waiting to treat them like a princess.

There are as many reasons to answer that question as there men who do it. I think allot of them are basically just selfish and only consider there immediate needs when it comes to relationships. Some just have bad wiring. The word MACHO mean that regardless of how I feel I am going to act a certain way. I recommend that you just go out and find you a nice that that will be more into you then he is himself. They do exist.

I think most of the time they get a kick outta it, Sometimes i think its the upbringing they have had, Or to look good in front of mates, Personally i hate it I don't think its funny & am sure they wouldn't like it done to them, They are the ones that are insecure at end of day ,

I truly believe that men are afraid of there own feelings, and therefore when they start getting a feeling of attachment toward a female, they pull away.

And of course, it's only the male, the female NEVER behaves that way.
Ask the question of 'people,' stop generalising about gender.

A man did that to me for over a year and a half.. it sucks maybe it is time to move on..it hurts..ex special since a marriage was ruined cause of him....
