A 600 g steel block rotates on a steel table (μk = 0.6) while attached to a 1.0 m long hollow tube. Compressed air fed through the tube and ejected from a nozzle on the back of the block exerts a thrust force of 4.2 N perpendicular to the tube. The maximum tension the tube can withstand without breaking is 50 N. If the block starts from rest, how many revolutions does it make before the tube breaks?

He flies arouund in a private jet, lives like a king, and uses more energy in a year than 350 american families. Why can't all of you enviromentalists see him for what he really is. Pick a person like Ed begley Jr., he live's a life that Al Gore Preaches. And then they give him a nobel prize for it. I wonder if when the earth starts cooling in 10 years if they will want there prize back. I doubt it, they did not ask for Jimmy Carters back, for that great job that he did keeping North Korea nuclear free.

A 110 g ball on a 60 cm long string is swung in a vertical circle about a point 200 cm above the floor. The tension in the string when the ball is at the very bottom of the circle is 3.5 N. A very sharp knife is suddenly inserted, as shown in Figure P7.51, to cut the string directly below the point of support. Where does the ball hit the floor? (Measure from the point where the string was cut and consider right to be the positive direction.)

i was reading some things about Joseph Smith as you know its hard to know what 2 believe so i'm giving Mormons an opportunity to clear it up.heres a section from a website..(It should be quite obvious that present scholarship has revealed that Joseph Smith did not translate the Book of Abrham by the power of God as he had claimed. We know for a certainty that the partial translation of the Kinderhook plates was obviously not a divinely inspired translation as well. It follows that if he did not translate the Book of Abraham by the power of God, and he did not translate the Kinderhook plates by the power of God, then it would be very easy to conclude that he did not translate the Book of Mormon by the power of God either. Obviously Joseph Smith had a vivid imagination and was perfectly capable of simply making up "translations" of real and imagined ancient texts.here is a link to the site http://josephlied.com/what.html

I have to write a play for my History of Fine Arts class and I'm having a bit of writers block. It must be a minimum of 5 to 7 pages with only two characters, because we must also act it out and there are only two to a group. There is no specific genre set but I don't want anything that is too dramatic. So.. any good ideas?

Just wondering how many women have bled during the early stages of their pregnancy and went on to have a healthy baby?

I have started to bleed and I am 9 weeks pregnant. It isn't much, more so when I go to the toilet and wipe. It is old looking blood. It started Sunday, eased Monday and started again this morning.

I have been to the doctor and had an ultrasound and everything is still progressing well, strong heartbeat and still growing rapidly and the radiographer said everything looks thing.

I just want to hear of other womens experiences as this is our first and it is all very worrying?

Things have never been good in our two years of marriage, but recently my wife has started saying things like "I don't think its going to work out." I got into her email account and from what I can tell she has been talking to an old boyfriend for a couple weeks now via email and on the phone. I think she might be planning on meeting him one of the days that I am out of town. What should I do?

Do you think fighting is in their blood or it's the owners fault if a pit bull becomes threatening? I'm one to think that if a dog has a nice home, then it'll turn out as a nice pet. But all things aside, with the reports out there...tell me you didn't feel the least bit nervous when you saw the pictures of the infants near the dogs.
