replacing my thermostat

Actually your thermostat is on the bottom hose, inside the thermostat housing, under the AC compressor, at the front of the engine, near the radiator. Easier to access it from underneath, but somewhat of a pain to replace.

follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. You have to unbolt the housing after removing the radiator hose and it's right there. Be sure and put it back facing the same way, the cone or pointed part goes up.

In some cars it is in the top radiator hose
