what is the best age to talk to my daughter about getting her period? she's 8 now and my thing is i started when i was 12 my mom never told me anything and i was scared to tell her till i was 13.i don't want my daughter to be scared to talk to me or to tell me when it happens.

In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name. For example, the trade name of Tylenol also has a generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also called Naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.
The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixaizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
Pfizer Corp announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as amixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails', 'highballs' and just a good old-fashioned 'stiff drink'. Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of:

teaching prospect said:

"Let me see if I've got this right. You want me to go into that room
with all those kids, and fill their every waking moment with a love for
learning,
and I'm supposed to instill a sense of pride in their ethnicity,
modify their disruptive behavior,
observe them for signs of abuse,
and even censor their T-shirt messages and dress habits.

You want me to wage a war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, check their backpacks for weapons of mass destruction, and raise their self esteem.
You want me to teach them patriotism, good citizenship, sportsmanship, fair
play, how to register to vote, how to balance a checkbook, and how to
apply for a job.
I am to check their heads for lice, maintain a safe environment,
recognize signs of anti-social behavior, make sure all students
pass the state exams, even those who don't come to school
regularly or complete any of their assignments.
Plus, I am to make sure that all of the students with
handicaps get an equal education regardless of the extent of their mental
or physical handicap.
I am to communicate regularly with the parents by letter, telephone,
newsletter, email, and report card.
All of this I am to do with just a piece of chalk, a computer,
a few books, a bulletin board, a big smile AND on a starting salary
that qualifies my family for food stamps!
