Sounds like your computer power supply is overheating. First check to see that the power supply fan is operating. If it is then your power supply is at fault. You can install any power supply that is rated at your current wattage or greater. If you recently added new hardware ( such as DVD burner, etc...) then you will need a larger power supply anyway.

Check the power saving settings. It may be set to hibernate after 10 minutes or after no activity has taken place. Alternatively the screensaver could be set to blank and that is cutting in after 10 mins. Or the fan might not be working efficiently and the CPU is shutting down on overheating. (In order of likeliest to unlikeliest).
