ok, i am not very domestic...i attempted to clean my laptop this morning, used nail polish remover (ingredients water, acetone, propylene gycerol...and many other chemicals) and i wiped the touch pad u use to control the pointer...now, it doesn't work, like it has lost its sensitivity-is it because of the nail polish remover?? any way to fix it or will i have to buy a mouse?

My girlfriend recently discovered that her best friend and sorority sister from college had just accepted a job in our area and moved into an apartment only a few miles away from our house.

For “old time’s sake”, the two of them decided to go out for a night on the town.

At some point during the evening, my girlfriend’s friend lost her keys, including the key to her apartment.

Since both of them were rather intoxicated, I was then called to pick them up.

Since her landlord wouldn’t be around to let her back into the building until this morning, my girlfriend told her friend that she could sleep on our couch until then.

However, when I picked up the girls, it was clear that sleeping was the last thing on their minds and they were both ready to continue partying.

Ok, I am planning to stay at my girlfriends this wkend because her parents are out, so supposly I will windeed sleep with her at night.

However she has told me she was bedtime incontience (I think thats the right word) and she has to wear some adult diapers at night. Should I be worried that I will wake up next to a girl in a sagging wet diaper?

Its all abit strange for a 17 year old girl to be earing diapers at night.. Nonetheless it doesnt bother me, but does anyone have any support of advice?

Sorry - I haven't been to a wedding in a long time, and am unsure of how much is appropriate for a cash weddign gift. This is for my niece. I would say we are fairly close with her and her husband to be.

If it has any bearing, there are 5 of us attending the wedding (my wife, myself, and three kids age 8 - 10). Don't not if it matters, but we are in the North East U.S.

Any thoughts?

When I was around five to six years old, I would always have a dream that my room would separate from the rest of my house. It would fly away like a rocket and when I would wake up the next morning and walk out, I realized I was in the middle of nowhere (either a desert, grassy plain or even the ocean.) A couple days ago I had the same dream, except it was my entire apartment that separated from my apartment building (I live on my own now.) What could this dream mean?

It's because last night we were asleep and my husband had turned off all the lights but I woke up and I could see three little mirror frames that I have on my wall ..they looked bluish ..and I know that when all the lights are off its really dark and you cant even see them..but I sat up in bed ..half asleep and I kept staring at them..It seemed like they glowed blue.. I didnt think anything bad but Im still concerned,,, I think I was so tired I just fell back to sleep ..then I started having nightmares of that..but I prayed and prayed so I feel better... I was just wondering if maybe energy can be absorbed in the mirror or maybe I was just hallucinating from sleepiness?? Help me!

a religious person (be they Christian, Jew, Muslim, Etc) trying to explain to you why they believe there is? Aren't they both proselytizing and trying to get you to understand and share their point of view? I ask because it seems that a lot of athiests say they are tired of religious people shoving their beliefs down their throats, but they do the same thing on a much grander scale. (Removal of prayer from school, removal of Ten Commandments from court houses, removal of "under God" from the pledge, etc.) Your thoughts?

I'm making oven fried chicken tonight and I need some gravy. I have a can of cream of chicken soup mixed with a cup of water in the freezer.. I stored it a week ago cause I didn't like the flavor..
