My soon to be mother in law wants to stay at my house for two weeks after the baby is born. She mentioned it months ago and I asked my boyfriend to take care of it, as I didn't want to hurt her feelings. I really want for the baby to get used to me and my boyfriend and his surroundings. She has a way of being really controlling and I've had a few issues with her in the past. One of those people that is "my way or no way," I'm sure you know the type. So, I was talking to her on the phone tonight telling her that I had a few contractions today (37 weeks) and she said "well, I'm going to have to talk to my boss tomorrow about time off." So, I am assuming that this issue hasn't been taken care of. Can I get some advice on how to tell her without her getting upset (which is going to be difficult) that I do not want her here for two weeks? All that it will cause me is added stress.

I just got a samsung a920, and in the box it came with a usb plug. when i plug it in to my computer it see's it but cant read it. minutes later it says software installed but i does not work.....where can i find the drivers?

He studies full time and I am a stay at home mum. I look after our daughter and that is pretty much it. I do housework mainly when he is at home to help out and I cook after he cleans the kitchen (usually) I don't want to do too much of the domestic stuff because I will feel as though I am accepting the role of a stereotypical housewife and I am against having to do all that crap on my own. Most days I just go out with friends, visit them, go out for lunch, go shopping and the like. Usually when my husband is home from work or uni or wherever I will be asking him to do housework with me, a lot of women are saying to be a good wife by letting him be the head of the household and it is pissing me off, I would rather us be equal, I don't want to give a man power over me, do you think it's because I was raised in a single mother household?

A guy on my public transport flirts with me for 18 months but seems shy & never progresses further (flirts nicely, not in a sleazy way). I get tired of the situation so 3 weeks ago handed him a casual note saying to contact me if he wanted to meet up for a drink or something sometime & I put my contact details on it. I did this as we like each other & I figured if he's shy he can just email or text me. He texts me the next day "declining" my offer. I stop catching the same transport, I use it one day last week & he looks at me like he still likes me. I know he's single, I think he's screwed up from a major break up but this was over 18 months ago. What now? I'm so angry with him I can't bear to go back to catching the same transportation as him. I think he's just too screwed up to have any kind of relationship with me, I think he's thrown away my contact details & deleted his text message to me but I think he regrets this & wishes he did contact me. Your thoughts please?

My teacher said that Russia did an experiment to teach their spies new languages. He said each night when they went ot sleep they'd play audio tapes of the language they wanted to learn with certain types of classical music and within 2 weeks they spoke the language fluently as if it was their first language. Is this true? How can I learn Japanese quickly?
