Inductive logic requires that you examine a situation and collect or gather the data you see to arrive at a logical conclusion. (A man wearing steel-toe boots is obviously a laborer)
Deductive logic is when you eliminate certain factors to arrive at the conclusion. (A person who faints at the site of the smallest amount of blood is least likely to be an axe murderer)

Aquaboy's answer is correct, but I'm not sure how easy it is to understand. So, let me see if I can put it another way that makes things a little more clear for you. Deductive reasoning is a process of starting with something you already know and then you use that knowledge to think through another case you are trying address. For example, I know all dogs are animals. In my case, I have a dog. Therefore, I have an animal. Inductive reasoning is a process using observations from many cases and from these observations make a general conclusion. For example, I have heated many different metals. Every metal I have heated expands. Therefore, I can expect all metals to expand when heated. If done properly deductive reasoning will end in a factual statement. However, inductive reasoning will likely only produce a workable theory that is supported only to the extend of your observations. Hope this helps.

Inductive logic & reasoning is based on available facts & incidences to draw a conclusionby linking available facts.
E.G Whenever commets have appeared one/more important citizen /s (President , King, queen ,Prime Minister of the country )has/have died & hence commets are bad omen. Several observations & cases treated & experimentations show that cancer attack is seen with A Rh positive blood group & hence A Rh positive groups are prone to cancer.
Under the deductive logic findings are drawn based on experimentation & in case of social science based on survey, interviews & observations to establish links between the concepts to be tested or a belief to be tested (also called constructs) & conclusions are drawn & not merely based on available facts.
Best wishes
