I have a SWR meter for my cb radio. To be honest I'm not exactly sure how to use it, my dad just gave it to me, no instrunctions or antyhing. it has the meter, a switch for forwar and reverse(whatever that does), a calabrator knob, and an antenna in and cb out. How am I suppose to use this to calibrate my radio? My radio has a SWR meter built into the radio. I have calibrated it and it works fine. I'm running about 1:1 to !:7. it is a uniden pc78Elite. It also has a meter for recieving and sending built into my radio. Also I have an antenna light that turns on red when my vehicle is in motion but my calabrating remains the same? Why is that? My main question was is that when I connect the external SWR meter my radio will not send or receive above 3 puonds. Why is this? I hope im not too confusing. Im trying to use the little space I have for this question as best as I can. Thank You for your time.

I'm 35 weeks along, this is my first baby so I am doing the 1st time mommy thing and going super nuts about everything!

My newest craze is the air in our house... We live in Arizona (for those of you who wouldn't know what this means it DRY as a bone, HOT, and FULL of dust)

Will the air in my house have a bad effect on the baby? Ive been dusting for days and vacuuming and things but it never seems to get any better!

We also have 3 cats (one long hair one short hair and one medium hair) . Ive been brushing them CONSTANTLY to try to cut down on the hair, but I never seem to be getting anywhere. (yes I know not to let the cats sleep on or lay on the baby)

I have a humidifier for the baby room (in our room at the moment because the baby will be sleeping in a bassinet next to our bed for the first month or so)

Should I buy a air purifier? Are there any good ones that are quiet enough not to wake the baby?

Am I just crazy and stressing over nothing?

Look... if bright lights, loud music and long sleepless nights is torture then most teenagers would be put in jail for what they have done to their parents... I get that... but when autopsies are telling us that a substantial number of people are dying of heart attacks, asphyxiation and blunt force trauma... wouldn't you agree it's time to look into our methods? Also.. one more thought. They admit the methods they use are the very same methods we use on our own soldiers (that volunteer) to prepare them if they are ever caught behind enemy lines.. and they justify it that we use it on our soldiers so it must not be torture... doesn't just the fact that our enemies would use it contradict this? So wouldn't you agree it's worth looking into our methods.. as opposed to just "assuming everything is fine"?

i am engage and in love with my fiance. we both ahve kids from previous relationships. I have one but my ex does not even show his face, he is not a problem to us. on the other hand my fiance has two kiddos from two drifferent women. to me its a little hard to get used to the idea that they "the mother's" will always be a part in his life. one other thing is that one of them is not happy with me and him being together. she is not very nice to me when we see eachother. he said he had talked to her about it. he tells me just to ignore her. really not sure how to handle her or the situation because i don't want to fight with her or cause any problems between them. you know make things worst! for right now i try to ignore the whole thing but its hard. she told him she doesn't want to see us together when she is around or when he pick up the kid. she wants respect but she can't respect me...
it might get bad when she finds out that him and i are planning our wedding for next year.

Hi everyone!!! I have a home daycare and trying to organize it, especially for the holidays. What I collect most are children's books. I have planned to buy plastic storage bins and put a few mothballs inside and store books in these that pertain to the holiday and montly. Oh yeah and I am storing them outside. The reason for the mothballs is becasue someone told me that would keep insects out. Not sure if that is true. Is this a good idea or do anyone have any other suggestions.

Hey, I had an accident when I was younger and now one of my breasts are larger than the other, id say 1-2 cup sizes difference. Im pretty sure my insurance would cover it but im scared to have an operation.
has anyone had a similar experiance?

Will they look and feel the same? (like one obviously has an implant, the other doesnt?)

Is an implant better than reduction? (one is like a b, other is a d)
