A flowerpot is dropped from a balcony of an apartment 28.5m above the ground. At a time of 1.00s after the pot is dropped, a ball is thrown vertically downward from the balcony one storey below, 26.0m above the ground. The initial velocity of the ball is 12m/s (down). Does the ball pass the flowerpot before striking the ground? If so, how far above the ground are the two objcts when the ball passes the flowerpot?

First I have to say, because I feel so vilainized by this, I did not, would not, will not, ever in my life, physically abuse a woman. I find the act of abusing a woman, or even violence (unless in self defense) appalling and inexcusable, which is why I am devastated by this claim.

Long story short, my ex filed a frivolous domestic violence claim against me. She wanted an injunction against me in place for a year going into the hearing and when I showed up with witnesses she immediately decided to dismiss it.

No charges or police involvment, no arrest, no evidence, just her claim in which she doesn't even state any violence, because there was none. Now this hearing for domestic violence is on my public records. I'm devestated by this, my character is very important to me and I have no criminal record whatsoever. I can prove she lied and seriously exagerated, etc. And show a motive for her actions. I'm now suing to prove my side. If I win, can this be removed from my records?

Why? i thought we all came here to ask/answer questions and give our opinions on certain topics. So why is it that everytime someone goes against the grain, they are called a hater? is that what a hater is, having a different opinion? i just got done looking at a question where someone disagreed with a popular opinion that Tupac wasnt the G.O.A.T., and people were coming in playin the "hater card"...since when are you a hater for having an opinion that you came up w/ your own mind, rather than just going w/ what some people think is cool, or what the majority of everyone else likes?

Ethernet Controller, Network Controller, PCI Modem, and PCI Simple Communications all have question marks beside them. Do you need to protect cd's, computer files, or dvd's from any sort of radiation used to processs the mail. Can the files be corrupted by x-rays and such? And if the postal service does use that sort of devices, what can you do to protect it? I'm sending some stuff to a friend overseas (non-military) and want to make sure nothing is damaged.

My car was parked and unoccupied and a commercial truck back up into my car creating front end damage. There was a police report written up and I have 2 party insurance information..(UPS Parcel)...My car only has liability insurance. the movie was about these two guys who got a house and turned it into a fraternity house for some reason even though they weren't college-aged. One of the things the students who wanted to join up had to do was stand on the roof of the house with one end of a rope tied around a certain thing and have the other end of the rope tied to a cinder-block they were holding. the purpose of this was to see if they would trust the leaders of the fraternity to have made the rope long enough that the cinder-block will fall safely on the ground and not yank them off the roof by their you-know-what. and lol, one guys cinder-block fell through a man-hole in the yard, lol.
