I call the justice system the injustice system because it is the justice systems place to protect criminals from justice.

Where I live the people judge and sentence you, crime is almost nonexistant for good reason.

If you commit a crime and the police can't get to you fast enough to protect and serve you, you'll know the true justice system is swift and unmerciful.

The community caught a rapist a few years ago and hung him, while he was being hung they stuck lit matches up his nose and told him to smell hell. They are in the process of tracking down a thief at the present time, wonder what fate awaits them.

Do you think the world would be a better place if everyone answered to the people for thier crimes?

I'm NOT an American and would like to know if the following is considered rude behavior in the US. It's actually TWO cases below.

1) I called a suit-selling store where I had previously ordered a nice suit and said "Hi, I'm calling to ask if my suit is ready.....",. The guy that answered the phone interrupted me and said "What suit, my friend??? I have about 1000 suits here!, what's your name?". Now, at the moment he interrupted me with such question, I was about to tell him my name. I thought it was kind of rude of him not waiting for me to tell him my name and making it look as if I was stupid enough to call and ask for my suit without giving them my name to identify it. Of course I was going to tell him my name but he didn't let me finish. Would his behavior be considered rude in the US or is it acceptable?

Finish/Trim carpenters;

I am going to have to hang some crown by myself, customer can't wait until my help is available. Two lengths are over 18' long. Material is finger jointed fir, custom milled. Up to twelve-fourteen feet I have had no problems doing this alone, but these lengths are too long. I definately don't want to have a length snap in half. Any suggestions on how to hold and shoot the nails by myself?
Has anyone tried double sided tape or Liquid Nails?

People come on now it wasn't that big of an upset. The bottom of the barrell Pac-10 teams still have a lot of talent it's just sometimes they don't tap into it. Anyways everyone with half a brain knows that Appalachian State beating Michigan is the biggest upset in college footbal. So quit asking the dumb question if Stanford vs USC is the biggest upset when it's not even close too being that big of an upset.

The dog is fluffy and white (shih tzu x maltese) and the staining under his eyes is very dark, I can get the actual gunk off but how do I clean the staining? I don't want to hurt him so I didn't put shampoo on his face, do I need to do that? He is only 3 months old and so tiny!!

Im turning 15 in 1 month and my boobs are SO tiny they are even too small for the SMALLEST bra, i wear 32A but there is still like space... i dunno WHY! everyone can wear open shirts and it looks nice because they've got titts but mine are just like little triangles. when winter comes i am planning on turning, either my waterfall, or pipe to the shallow end off. i am doing this to reduce the curent and to stop the water getting to cold. i know that the wam water is at the bottom where my pump is, now should i stop my water fall that falls directly above the pump or stop the pipe that returns half the water to the shallow end. i have thought about raising the pump from the bottom but a lot of waste builds up on the bottom.

We as people have such a fear of death, not one of us really KNOWS if there's an afterlife or not and some people spend their life trying to figure out if there really is an afterlife or not...


but we have absolutely no problem showing death in movies or books?


I know when people watch movies, they can watch it disconnected from everything that's going on, they'll feel emotion if it's a sad movie, and scared if it's a horror movie, and overall, it's just a movie right?


How can we feel that way, when we know nothing of death ourselves?


All animals fear death, every species wants to live. I don't care how good a life you've lived, if you were given a chance to live while you were on your deathbed, you'd take it. So no one really wants to die.


How could we possibly portray something that frightening, something that no one wants to experience, something that we have no real knowledge of, like we do in movies/ books?
