Do atheists? And do they also like burning forever? That's not a threat. That's a promise of God.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, **and unbelieving**, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death
Read it and weep sweetie

Na I love it because that means you are interested. I think anyone who is not confident in WHY they believe what they believe will dislike being questioned.
I think this holds true for any person not just Christians. However, many Christians have no idea why they are Christians and what the full belief system is.
BTW: Speaking of knowing what you are talking about, please don't lump all Christians in together. The inquisitions were mainly the CATHOLIC church killing other Christians who challenged the Pope's authority.
Oh and for you people who keep bringing up the Crusades, yes they were really bad but honestly they were a total abysmal failure on the part of the Catholics. It honestly brought about the end of the iron grip of the Church over Europe as many of the knights never came back but died along the way.
The only one that was ever "successful" from a military standpoint saw losses of well over 75% by the time they reached Jerusalem. Again, Catholics not all Christians.

Well the more their beliefs are questioned the more irrational their claims become to back them up. They must either realize that the Bible is not all true which is what normal Christians do or make outrageous claims to back up what the Bible says. Like when people try to prove that the Great Flood happened and that Noah's Ark was real, you know their common sense went off the deep end. Sorry for the pun. =P

Beliefs established on shaky foundations are always questionable whether the believers like it or not.
Christianity is accountable for many evils in our world (as most of the organized religions) however Christians choose to ignore the history and carry out group attacks on those questioning their beliefs thus producing solid evidence that their religion is a treacherous one.

Well personally I don't really. But its human nature to want to be right, and not have people think of you as less intelligent.
But on the topic of religion, it would be bad to not look at all options with an open mind. Not all Christians are the same either, and many who say they are arent.
But I like to ask and answer ques. As long as someone has a real debate and is not just being annoying with a closed mind its fine.

Hello,
Not all; many enjoy the mental gymnastics of the debates and all beliefs should be questioned and scrutinized before one accepts them lest you end up in a cult that laces your grape drink with cyanide or gets you to commit suicide to hitch a comet ride to a new world.
When people your faith it encourages you to review and brush up on your knowledge in order to reply adequately and there is no harm in that.
Cheers,
Michael Kelly

Most people who do not actually know the origins and history of their religion dislike having their beliefs questioned. Most Christians don't realize that the Crusades were the equivalent of a Jihad of today.

It is perfectly okay for Christians to disrespect other peoples religions or beliefs but nobody can do it to them? What makes you guys so damn special? People are always doggin on athiests and non believers! Why should there be an exception for Christians?

Not me. I love a good debate on faith & I'm a christian. Faith that is afraid to be challenged is little more than going through the motions. Challenge helps me grow & understand more of what & why I believe.

I don't dislike it. As a matter of fact, I expect it.
In thenew testament book of Acts, Apostle Paul commended the people of Berea because they did not take his teachings at face value, but checked them out to make sure they're true.
Any Christian that doesn't like having their beliefs questioned is very shaky in his faith.
