Really, neither - They are currently being under-coached. Their road trip is NOT so tough that they should be crying that they're tired, and they still have plenty of talent on the team even with Teemu or Scotty N.
The coaching staff has to light a fire under their back-sides and get them to playing up to their level!

The team is vastly diff. No Scott Nieds,Teemu and no Dustin Penner. That means all but the Sammy Shut Down Line is affected..but wait! Sammi is injured so aww sh*t! Jiggy is injured too. The new guy Matt s is injured. The guys have some SC hangover fever and Andy and Frankie (#23) look somewhat lost w/o their line-mates from last season. The road trip to London in a word:MORONIC.
I'd say they'll do better around Thanksgiving.

Probably neither. They had a few days to recover from England. They played four games, that's really not enough to draw any conclusions about a team. The Ducks are a good team, they will not stay down for long.

I don't think think that the ducks are a bad team. This team is starting to go through the same thing that the Hurricanes went through last year. The Ducks are playing with injuries and not to mention the many teams that come across them want to prove to themselves that they can beat the Cup Champs. Everyone is gunning for them and it won't stop till the end of the season.

They are just having a bit of Stanley Cup hangover/complacency. Plus they have been on a killer road trip. They will be fine, they'll make the playoffs, I wouldn't expect them to repeat though.

They are pretty shorthanded. Giggy is injured and Niedermayer and Selanne are still wondering if they are going to retire. And Brian Burke is too busy bitching about how the Oilers cheated him out of Dustin Penner.

The lost two of their best players and no one seems to know if they are coming back. they are not the same stanley cup team they were last year. Neidermeyer is a great leader and Pronger is no comparison.
