Tthe American Medical Association definition of death, is no brain activity. Many people who have NDEs are connected to EEG machines that are flatlined. There is no brain activity and no heart beat. This constitutes clinical death.

There is also an argument that says the brain continues to function after there is no activity. Mainly from the resuscitation efforts that are being conducted. This argument is questionable and not verifiable.

The length of time a patient is brain dead varies from a few minutes to several hours in the NDE accounts One patient had been dead for 40 minutes before revival. Brain activity can not account for the new information the patient has when revived.
The longest time someone has been dead (that I know of) goes to Grigorievich Rodonaia, a Russian, who was killed by the KGB. He was in the morgue for for 3 days in cold storage. During the autopsy, he regained consciousness. He has recovered without permanent injury and is now living somewhere in Tex

from time to time, a light will float from 3 oclock to 6 oclock in my right eye, or from 12 to 3. less often the same things happen in my right eye from 12 to 9 and 9 to 6. Also, i sometimes see hundreds of tiny dots floating around in bright spaces. has anyone else had similar experiences? am i crazy?

Me and my friend are having a debate on Microsoft and Apple and I love Microsoft and he loves Apple. He says Microsoft is just a big copy cat with everything and I insist that they are NOT. So I want to proove him wrong and give him things that Microsoft has thought of themselves. Can anyone help me out. Like Microsofts own desktop appearances and features.

she is a non Christian and feeling an urge to persue what her heart is telling her

she is met with people telling her it is a cult , it is wrong etc
surely the fact that she is being drawn to Christianity is what matters no ?
shouldnt she be recieving good wishes and help from Christians ... any Christians
shouldnt you be rejoicing that someone is being drawn to Christ ?
or are you so closed minded to even your own faith that any church but your church is the wrong church ?

I just don't get it
personally as a non Christian I was encouraging her to follow her heart , even though it is not my religion at all

If I insulate all my windows with the styrofoam type insulation plus plastic over this along with heavy blankets, throw rugs on all floors, heat tape outside on pipes and in working order, water left trickling indoors, and plenty of warm blankets to use will my home remain warm to get through the winter. I live in lower part of Michigan (Macomb County) in a small older model type mobile home. I have heat tape outside on my pipes and I can eliminate any drafts by insulating all drafts from any windows as mentioned above. I have tried asking this question or similar a number of times and have yet to get any answers other than kerosene heaters (which i am against as they can cause fires, or space heaters which I hear can run the electric bill sky high) I am trying very hard to get someone to please come and look at my furnace which isnt working but so far no luck so I want to prepare myself in the meantime. Government assistance wont help because according to them I do not qualify.

Okay. Here's the thing. My mother is a vegetarian and although I'lll NEVER stop eating meat I do think as a compassionate human being I ought to do something. I stopped eating at KFC because the chickens there aren't just killed (which is fine with me as that's the circle of life), but they die sloooowly and suffer the entire time. Often they are boiled in hot oil while steal barely alive! It's horrible!

Now I'm thinking about the baby cows (i.e., calves) who are turned into veal. "Within moments of birth, male calves born on dairies are taken away from their mothers and loaded onto trucks. Many are sold through auction rings where they are subjected to transportation and handling stresses. The fragile animals are shocked and kicked, and when they can no longer walk, they are dragged by their legs or even their ears." They are chained so they can't move which results in disorders and they are starved.
