lacy undergarmets(wait its NOTmardi gras right?), emergency plans, extra pair of undies......andsoem extra canned goods and/or blankets to drop off at any relief places still rebuilding???
A laptop?? something so you can keep in touch with us that WHOLE week :(
OH and some extra cash for a key chain...or a postcard....nothing fancy...you and Kasia can go in on one for me....save ya some dough...lol

Bring comfortable shoes because you will walk a lot. Pack light. Take one or two easy to pack ensembles for going out at night and the rest casual clothes. It should be pretty warm there soon. Maybe a rain jacket, check the weather. Get mini-toiletries at a big drugstore chain anywhere in the city. Have fun, NYC is awesome!

Hi Just Me,
write it down then check list off as you pack:
1. panties & bras, nylons, socks,
2.shorts, shirts, jeans, dress pants, maybe light jacket, swim wear,
3. dresses, skirts, blouses,
4.heels, tennis shoes, comfortable shoes,
5.brush, comb, hair dryer, tooth brush, tooth paste, mouth wash, beauty supplies period,
6.party beads, party hat, costume if it's Mardi Gras always forgets when this happens,
7.pain medicine-for whatever reasons, any other meds you take daily, smokes if you smoke of course,
8. camera or digital camera,
9. condoms if you are single-cause guys don't always have a clue,
11. traveler checks, cash, plastics-oops credit cards,
12. cell, laptop after the party scene, chargers for the 1st two things,
13.trash bag for your dirty clothes.

a LOT of deodorant - that place is humid as heck!!! I started sweating just walking out the door. Of course it was end of June when I went. Whatever you do go to the French Quarter at night and just soak up the nightlife!!! They have these WONDERFUL places where you can get these huge "fu fu" drinks you can just carry around - you know - from bar to bar.....LOL!!! Have a drink for me!!
Oh yeah - and pack a designated driver........LOL!!
