It's funny how, when one points out inconsistencies and problems with the logic of faith, the response is "it is not for us to understand God's plan", yet when one brings up evolution, many believers claim they have the inside track on exactly what God's plan is, and that evolution is not part of it.

Yes. Isn't allowing life to evolve over millions of years more of a creation ,then to say poof it's done? Spiritualists have been saying this since the 1800's. We have always believed that evolution is the method God uses to create. We also believe in the Big Bang theory . We feel God was the source that started the event.

Indubitably. Whether you like it or not there were creatures on this planet that do not even resemble the latest models. Where do those bones come from? Since then evolution has taken place... not so?. God (or whatever you want to call the architect or designer of it all) made it. Simple.

within a certain species, yes... of course. I have no problem thinking that changes within a species happen.

However, I do not think that a cell to can change into a man.

God rested; He stopped creating. Evolution is an ongoing process.

To Dreamstuff Entity: I thought the THEORY of Evolution is just that... A THEORY!!!

I don't see why not... but one would first need to provide evidence that a god exists. This is yet forthcoming and thus, in exercising occam's razor one would have to admit that that assumption is simply adding god as an explanation for something that needs not explanation.

Yes. Since it is a readily observable event, and there is overwhelming evidence of its occurrence in the past, it must be, in part, the mechanism through which God effected the development of life on our planet.

Theoretically, he could have caused the world to evolve over billions of years, because anything is possible for God.

But in fact, this is not what happened. He created the world in six 24-hour days as is written in the Holy Bible.

Not if you trust what The Bible tell us! People will try are say that it it is how God made everything, but they can not back it up with what The Bible. Six days..... That is what God's word tell us. Just like Job we do not know everything.

Yes. As a Catholic, I can say that certain elements of evolution are compatible with the Scriptures.

Think about it. Is it God's plan for you to deny Him and choose evolution. Is it His plan that you call Him a liar because you think man evolved instead of being made by Him.
