Lets assume a generally healthy person who exercises regularly that caught a common cold. I've heard so much conflicting advice on this that I don't know what to think.

Some people talk about the above the neck / below the neck thing. How about this? If the cold is in your head then go ahead but if its in your chest then take a rest (just made up the rhyme)

I'm generally too stubborn to stop (though I do slow down a bit) and while I feel OK while doing the exercise I almost always feel bad the next day (though I can't tell if I would feel like that anyway)

What about saunas or hot baths?

I for one can Read music play 4 different instruments and well. Piano, drums,trumpet,and trumbone. I have been studying music and playing since the age of 3. I even was part of My states All City Marching band performing in venues from DisneyLand to the Rose Parade. Plus Scholarships. But I also draw. I only do it to past time away now. But as a child and growing up through school I was good enough to get a scholarship at Otis Parks. besides that I have a nack for building things and Hardware growing up in a home where the men did there own plumbing and remodeling. I would say that Im a jack of all trades. LOL>. I even know how to cook verywell follow direction in a recipe book, Sew, and Do some Body work on your car for custom paint job. All of these things I learned from my Father , Grandparents, and Mother and Grandmother. Music is my Best as for I do it effertlessly.

I have had my male cat for a little over 2 yrs now and life has not been how I imagined it after adopting him as a kitten.

His (ongoing) flaws:
- He can be very aggressive - you can play w/him only so long before he attacks you viciously
- He will knock anything in his way on the floor for no reason
- He'll chew anything of personal value to me(he has lots of toys)
- He drools and "digs" on you persistently
- He doesn't like to be held
- He doesn't believe in "training"
- He is not affectionate at all (see number 4)

Latest flaws:
- I got him a friend and he plays too rough w/him
- He's been screaming at the top of his lungs from anywhere from 5am - 6am.

Pros:
- He's beautiful
- He makes for a lot of good stories

I've had cats since I was 6 and have never had a cat quite like him. I've tried just about everything and it kills me to think about having to return him to the shelter after 2yrs. What makes things worse, I love the new cat and he is exactly what I want in a cat.

My ex boyfriend really wants to salvage a friendship with me- we broke up nine months ago. However only a few of those months were we not talking and lots of the time was filled with us CROSSING the line... saying things we really shouldn't. The breakup was on my end and now its mostly mutual, however since I still care about him I don't like being friends. I have never been friends with an ex and he easily is friends with exes. If we stop talking, we somehow pick it up again. If we, maybe 4 days of the week will talk a couple times a day and the other 3 days just a little or not at all, HOW can I slowly disentigrate the friendship so he doesn't notice if I don't call for weeks? I usually call right back and thats just the way I am so I really need a way to get him to not feel like I'm gone or just be okay with it.



I can't do friends very well.

She just found out her 2 1/2 month old son has CF. Does anyone know of any encouraging words to say to her. All she keep saying is the life span is not long at all.

I dont know what to tell her and know little about CF.

Also please inform me about bad this disease is.

Looking thru all the videos and all you see is YANKEES interviews. You know, there are 29 other teams in the league other than the NY Yankees who didn't even win their division this year! How about interviews with other teams' players and Managers.

The Nationals were supposed to have the worst record in the league this year. Well surprise, surprise they didn't!

I'm sick and tired of the Yankees and Red Sox being given all the coverage!
