Today I stopped by a freind's business and a sherriff's SUV pulled in behind me and asked if I had seen a former boyfiend of mine because he is behind in child support. They further told me that they have been in my apartment numerous times when I am not there to see if he is, apparently, and that my landlord has been letting them in. They have also been following me around I guess! I was never married to this person. The apartment lease is solely in my name . And I have never in my life been in trouble with the law! Is this legal?? Help me!

I was making a bumper sticker for my graphic design course and when I came upon an image that I could have used, I wondered: Would I be breaking this image's copyright laws by using it in my design, even though it's for learning?

So I was wondering, how are images protected by Copyright?

where the asker feels compelled to make some kind of snide comment to EVERY person that offered an answer other than what the asker thought was correct? I saw one not long ago where the askers jabs at the answerers took up more space than the whole rest of the text. How do you feel about people like this? Is it necessary to personally address each answerer that disagrees with the asker?

I met the lovely Jimmy from Jimmy's Farm on Saturday @ a sausage fest @ his farm. He posed for my camera as I asked if I could take a photo of him & Micheala. Lovely guy he was!!!

Puerto Ricans shares the same military obligations as any US citizen, but they can not vote for the President of the United States. Right now there are thousands of them (in all military branhes) giving their lives to defend USA in the war against terrorism. Can this be considered a violation of civil rigths?
What happens if in november 2008 a resident of Puerto Rico still fighting in Iraq, can this resident qualified to vote for the President at that moment? I think it may look akward to see other soldiers in Iraq voting in the Presidential Election while if you are a resident of Puerto Rico figthing in Iraq do not have the same opportunity.

America instead of blaming the person that is obese? I have worked at Mc Donald's for a year now and have not gained weight and I eat it all the time. I have actually lost 10 pounds this year. If people would not allow their kids to park their butts in front of the tv, computer, or video games for hours at a time the obesity problem would be A LOT better. Quit using fast food as a scape goat if your kids are getting fat. Look at your activity levels!

Ok... My husband and I got married a year this December. No one was present but our son and 2 witnesses. His parents were told but didn't come, Well all of a sudden...his mother is ranting and raving that she was NEVER told of anything, never invited nothing..well we know better but she's an alcoholic and doesn't remember anything anyways...but now she wants to us to renew our vows FOR HER. We are not willing and telling her so and telling her that a BAR is not a place we would ever consider simply does not work. Telling her to back off does not work either. She truly believes that we should do this for her...and that I need to learn to "roll with the flow".. I think she should have gotten ride of the booze bottle and shown up for her son (which would have been the first she'd ever done anything for him) Short of losing her on my mothers 300 acres of wooded land...what can we do?

A coworker of mine goes out of her way to be nasty. Making rude remarks about my physical appearance, my upcoming wedding and tries to make me look bad in front of the boss. It's a small office. The one and only boss is aware of the ongoing situation but does nothing about it. So, I began to dunking her favorite cup in the toilet. When she says something catty while drinking out of the toilet cup, I can't help but feel so much better.

So is there anything truly wrong about seeking revenge towards someone like this? I managed to get her password to her email account to monitor what she sends to my boss. I want to sign her up for porn. Another idea was to give her computer a virus or put small amounts of urine into her food.

If you don't think there's anything wrong with revenge where do you draw the line? Is there anything wrong about my feelings or actions towards her?

I do. Everyone I know that smokes had/has a parent/gaurdian that smokes.
My dad did there was no escaping it. That's how I got hooked on the garbage for a few years. I'm a quitter.
