It was nearly 2 years ago now. I met a-ha at a signing in HMV in London. Despite the security guards trying to shove the fans along quickly a-ha were lovely. I did get a lovely smile from Mags and managed to mutter 'Thank you'.
I'm not very good when I come face to fave with my idols. I seem to forget how to speak. lol.

There were only 2, so I'll name them both. The first was Mohammed Ali, back in the late 60's (?). He had a training camp near Reading, PA where I grew up & we went for a visit. In spite of his "tough guy image" he was very gracious to my cousins & I who were still kids at the time. He's a really nice guy. The other one you might have never heard of. His name is Bill Plummer & he was Johnny Bench's relief catcher in the 70's. We dated briefly. He was also a nice guy.

I met an Italian hunk actor called Riccardo Scamarcio while on hols in Milan. I didn't know him as he is not famous in Spain where I live. I saw him from the distance, but man, how can someone be so cute??? I fell in love with him and now I'm his fan! lol! He was in Milan, in the main square beside the Duomo shooting an MTV program to promote his last film...film that I obviously downloaded as soon as I came back home!!! The download was worth it!!!

I met Bret Michaels from Poison yesterday in a hotel in manassas, virginia. He was so nice and helped me carry my bags to my car! We even got a cup of coffee together! We met on the evelvator! He is a super, down to earth dude! I did tell him that I hope he chose Jess but it was the morning before the last episode of Rock OF Love (VH1) and all he could say was " Everybody has said that to me "! Well, he did pick Jess! It was one of the best 1/2 hour of my life!
He was leaving today to go over sea's to sing for the troops! I jusrt had to tell someone!

Really nice bloke - he did a talk at the local village hall where he used to live to help them raise money and they paid him with some bottles of real ale!! MY type of guy!

Dame Judy Dench. I shared the stage with her at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh. It was at my graduation and she was receiving an honorary doctorate. She was lovely but her husband Michael Williams had just died so we didn't get to chat.
