I hate to call anyone stupid but this person received three 4-year scholarships to out-of-state universities but he turned them down. Now he is taking classes online. Keep in mind he is 18 years old.

If he was my son, I would force him to accept one of the scholarships and send him packing. I'm sure he would thank me in the long run. How is he going to learn social skills and enjoy the campus life-style if he stays home and take ALL of his classes online??

Just got a letter from landlord for a rent rise to be effective next month, and because I will refuse, he will write eviction notice which gives me 30 days to vacate the room, the problem is that I am flying away for a month next week, which means that I will be away while the eviction notice period end (if he gave it to me before I fly). I have told him (verbally) two weeks ago that I will be leaving for a month.
So he is putting me in such a tight situation!

Any informative help will be appreciated.

Additional Details:
# It is an assured tenancy contract. shared house, Landlord doesn't live with us, and its located in London.

# I pay the rent on monthly basis.

# the tenancy agreement states clearly that either me or the landlord can give 4 weeks notice to terminate the contract.

# the contract says clearly the rent increase is to comply with provisions of Landlord and Tenant Act section 85 (any explanation please?)

# It is my 8th month in this property.

Im a college student in my 20s and I have been dating a man for three years, who is 10 years older than me. I am so much in love with this man but he hurts me so bad. Every time I try to get over him I let him back into my heart. Im so lost and confused that I feel bad all the time. Lately I have been so emotional over this man.
A little background information: He was dating another women for over six years and things didn't work out because both did wrong. Then two years later I started talking to him, but she bounces back and forth into his life and he lets her. Throughout the past three years he hasn't treated me right and there has been so many lies and a few other women. He always tells me that he loves me and wants to marry me. But lately when I call him he either doesn't answer or his phone is off. I know he isn't treating me right but I still keep letting him in, please help me how can I get over this? Im tired of the situation and Im ready to on but my heart wont let me

my bf of 2 years broke up with me last night over a text message (mature I know). I was shocked since everything seemed great we had even spend an amazing night together the night before. I was so confused. He lives w/his dad (hes 23) who lives next door to my parents, which is how we met in the first place. I was visiting my parents when this all happened, and when I walked outside his ex's car was at his house. He had just recently come back into contact with her (she cheated on him badly) but i never worried since she only came over twice & he always told me & we always hung out right after. he said he loved me it was nothing they were just having "closure" even though i know for a fact she wanted him back (a note i found) well, she spend the night there last night and I tell you that hurt so much. Right now I'm just so lost and can't understand how someone can do that to someone...i need any advice to ease this pain or helpful or encouraging words...thank you

What is a job that a 19 year old girl who graduated high school but is not going to college can do from home. Dont day babysitting or petsitting or anything like that.

I have social anxiety and I am extremely shy so I can't do public jobs. I have blown every interview I have ever gone to. I need a job that I can do from home. ASAP!!!!

I already sell Avon, and I dont make much from that, because I am too shy to go out and sell it so I only sell to family
