"God" made us=flawed mammals
its ironic, we, human beings or early hominids have lived through the near impossible, hunted down woollly mammoths, came into the more civilized society, had a crazy idea to have the world's strongest army or take over the world countless times
my christian friend said "God" made us, the earth, and everything. He and every other christian ive met deny the simple truth right in front of them: God is not real. They deny the scientific fact that the world was created by some man-woman or whatever the heck gender this "God " is
and by God, there are a few Gods, so when i hear the word God , i must wonder, the God of Gods? are the chrisitans saying that their so called great "God" who made everything is more superior to the other 'Gods' we know?

The reason I ask this question is because members of my family say that it is very wrong for a women to preach God's word or be a leader in the church. The reason they say that it wrong is because this puts a woman in authority over men in the church ,which they are is very wrong. They also say that it says this is the Bible.

Here are my questions.

*If you believe this is a sin please explain why. I want to learn more about your point of view.

*If you believe this is not a sin please explain why. I want to learn more about your point of view.

*What position in the church do you believe a woman can have? Deacon, teacher (like bible school teacher), Minister, song leader, ect ?

I want to hear both sides of the story.

(I hope this does not offend any one, because I am truly curious about this)

I just need information to why increased government spending will increase interest rates and how this would affect the Australian economy. I know that the Federal Budget was mildly expansionary this year but how would this increase in spending lead to an increase in interest rates before the 2007 Federal election (i know an interest rate rise has already occurred but why did it occur)

i am a girl who comes from a pakistani origin and been in this country for 22 years now pretty much i was born here and i am TOTALLY AMERICANIZED!!!now the problem is my parents have been here the same amount as me or even more and still treat me as if were back home ! pretty much im not allowed to go out alot and expect me to be " family oriented" and i do spend most of the time with them. now i have done sum crazy things in the past such as had a bf, a guy came to see me right by my house etc etc... my parents dont trust me and i need permission for every lil thing and im 22! i feel like a 10 yr old infront of them.often i always see other gals go out and chill in nighttime in the city and it upsets me cuz im in my room doin nothin! if i am allowed to go out n im expect me to come back b4 the "sunset" goes down n im not allowed to go to lounges, late night in the city around 7pm- n over -& it is killin me i feel i have no life and i feel suffocated. i really need HELP asap !

This is a new discovery, some debate that our solar system is originally from the Sagitarrius Dwarf galaxy which is now breaking up as it crosses into the path of the Milky Way. If this is the case, our system will be shifting gears and begin to flow with the Milky Way in the process of being absorbed. This could have an astronomical effect on our planet and thus life as we know it. This will also change how the planets of our system is lined up and thus could possibly explain why the Mayan calendar ends at the year 2012-- the estimated time that planets will complete their re-alignment and thus a new system will be necessary.
Of course much is debated, however it is known fact that a complete other solar system will be raining down directly over top of us. So, what do you think would be the wise thing for us to do? We know enough to protect ourselves while driving-- seat belts; airbags; and double reinforced steel doors save lives. Shouldn't we be looing to shore up our home?!!

I want to contribute to a Roth IRA to plan for my retirement. But I currently live and work in a foreign country and all of my income is excluded from US taxes per form 2555 and the "foreign earned income exclusion".

According to documents I could find on the IRS website: "any amounts that you exclude from income, such as foreign earned income" is not considered "compensation" and so cannot be counted towards what I can contribute to an IRA.

However, I contacted a tax professional and he commented that: "To my knowledge, there is nothing wrong with optimizing the exclusion to leave enough income to contribute to an IRA. Generally, this is done either by using the dates in the physical presence test to leave a little income".

I would like to know if this is true. Or if anyone has any knowledge about this. Would fudging the dates for the physical presence test be considered lying to the IRS? (and in doing so would I be commiting fraud?)
