The Blessed Sacrament is always Jesus after the consecration. We consume his body and blood and we become a part of him. If it quit being him we would quit being part of the Body of Christ. It is especially him in HIS flesh for 20 minutes after the reception of Holy Communion. This is why it is sooo bad to get up and leave Mass early---right after Holy Communion---very bad.

It never was, it's always bread and wine, this whole transubstantiation claim is nonsense. The ritual is, however, based on cannibalistic rituals of the pagans long before JC arrived (if he ever did.) What a twisted superstition!
