It used to be that a one game playoff was considered part of the regular season. Unless they changed the rules, you're right, Chipper could get the batting title if Holliday has a bad game. Also, Peavy can become a 20 game winner

Holliday already has a hit. He's have to record an out in 5 at-bats.

Chipper did win the batting title.......at sea level.
Give Holliday his due, he has a chance at MVP, and he's one heck of a hitter.

Jones can win, but Holliday has to go 0-5 or worse to fall behind him.

He could, but Holliday would have to go 0-for-5 or worse, he's already walked once, and it's unlikely that he'll get six plate appearances unless they go to extra innings.
