Last night my boyfriend were in the bedroom, the bedroom over head light was off, the switch also have a dimmer on the side of the switch to adjust how bright the light is. The switch was on, [OFF] position which is the switch down. Maybe an hour later, Thunder hit and then the bedroom lights came on really bright like when the dimmer is all the way up [when the switch was off], then dimmed back down the to lowest setting. I got freaked out and got up and checked the switch which was ...on, [ON] position when neither of us even touched it.

SO, can someone explain to me how a switch can turn it self upright when it was in down position OFF! without someone touching it???!

Okay i love my mom don't get me wrong and maybe about 20 % of the time she can be okay to be around!
but i'm stuck in this jam! I want to spend time with her but she has no respect for my words! I will sit there and listen to all her rants and camlaints even follow up with positive questions to show her the good side of life! she will cut me off most the time to get what she wants to say
I have had the talk to her in a nice way. nothing seemed to comefrom it! I love her but i feel my only last option is to just ignore her but i want her in my life I only have 1 mom!
i have sent her articles on how to be postivie i just don't think she cares!
then to cut me off over half the time i say anything! just to say what she want's to hear! from previous post i let her talk about her self with the 3 months we have worked to gether she asked how my day was maybe 2 times yet i ask her everyday I show intrest in her life she don't! in mine! i'm out of options and characters what can i do

How come more secular European countries are less corrupt than the USA?

Poor countries with political unrest are typically more corrupt. Here is where the USA ranked among the rich Western nations.

How do they compare in terms of recoil and stopping power? It looks like the .357 SIG has less powder behind it than the .357 magnum. Does it have a slower muzzle velocity? Is it as lethal as the .357 magnum?

My mother in law & her fiance are getting married next month. It is a second wedding for both the bride and groom and they are an older couple. What should my husband and I get them that isn't too cheesy? We were thinking of signing them up for a wine club, and that way they would recieve 2 bottles of wine each month for a year. Good idea? What are your HONEST opinion on the name...

Alana Simone Carter?

I was going to give her my moms name as her middle name but my mom name is Joanna and Alana Joanna has too many "ana's". So instead, My mom has free range (well kind of, she has some major restrictions because I've seen her prior naming work,she named my sisters and I and she gives out ghetto names) of the middle name.

She decided on Alana Simone. I like it...Simone seems like the perfect middle name to me. To me It goes with everything like Rose, Ann, and Nicole.

Whats your opinion?

I am 28 wks pregnant with my second child. In my first pregnancy, I was never successful at breastfeeding - he had complications that prevented him for doing it right away and after using a bottle for a while, we could never get the hang of it. I pumped milk for 6 weeks and gave that to my child, but that was all I could do.

This time, I want to be able to breatfeed. I feel a little guilty that I might be giving one child something better than I gave the other. Has anyone felt that way? How did you overcome it?

I feel like a beginner and don't have clue as to what it will be like and how to get through the hard part. Any personal experiences or any advice?

any recourse? The guy hired me to be a bra salesman and when I stepped out to get on the elevator I stood by this lovely lady and I reached out and felt her blouse material. For some reason she became highly offended and called the personnel manager out and said who is this weasel, he told her I was teh new bra salesman and she said if I am here on Monday then he is not...obviously I didn't get the job.
