What are your HONEST opinion on the name...
Alana Simone Carter?
I was going to give her my moms name as her middle name but my mom name is Joanna and Alana Joanna has too many "ana's". So instead, My mom has free range (well kind of, she has some major restrictions because I've seen her prior naming work,she named my sisters and I and she gives out ghetto names) of the middle name.
She decided on Alana Simone. I like it...Simone seems like the perfect middle name to me. To me It goes with everything like Rose, Ann, and Nicole.
Whats your opinion?

Love Alana, Simone I don't like that much. Not bad, but not great either.

I love it. ;) Alana is a lovely name with a beautiful meaning. If you're not familiar with it besides as "the feminine form of Alan," you'll like this link. http://www.babynamesofireland.com/pages/girl-names-a-c.html I've always adored the "darling child" connection, myself. Definitely a great meaning to be able to tell her about when she's older. ;)
Simone is not completely my style -- though I love Simon for a boy (go figure LOL) -- but it's great that your mom managed to pick something you can actually be happy with, know what I mean? Especially given your comments regarding her past choices! LOL I'd say Simone is probably an unexpected improvement. ;) And Alana Carter works beautifully, by the way. Just sounds natural. So all in all, perfect choice!

I think the name sounds very strong, but feminine. I'm not a huge fan of Simone, but that's a personal thing. It sounds very nice with Alana.

I absolutely love that name!
Alana means dear one, and that is such a sweet name for your baby! I like Simone too... it means listener.
It is a name for one of those really good friends, and a woman who will be kind yet strong.

I like the way it flows but I don't like the name Simone. Overall it's a cute name.
