I am trying to use a FET with a BS2 to be used as a "people sensor". Is this possible? Would the schematic at this link (http://www.amasci.com/electrom/electro-f1.gif) work?

Had it planned all day. The 'old man' was going down the pub to watch the rugby and all the kids were going to be out for the night. Ha Ha I thought, house to myself for the night. Long bath with no one keep knocking on the bathroom door, order a chinese takeaway to be delivered, bottle of wine and the biggest treat of all.....being in charge of the Remotes for the big downstairs plasma all singing all dancing tele instead of having to watch the small bedroom one. Trouble is I can't find (out of the 9 million channels we have) anything to Bloody watch. Is this what they call Sods Law !!!

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Okay, I have a Viper 150 quad, and my belt is bad, because it will not go forward, it will but not up a hill. So, I check the spark, chain, and found nothing obvious. I asked someone, and they said, check the V-Belt.

Where is that!?

What do I take off?

Where is the belt at?

Where is the transmission at?
I'm sooo bad on four wheelers. I have aYamaha TT-R230, and my sisters have the four wheeler. I can take my whole dirt bike apart, put it back together, but I can't do it to the fourwheeler.
That is why I need a picture, or a diagram.

Can you please help?

Thanks

Say a man works in a coal mine for 12 hours a day. The man would have made enough money to retire 5 years earlier except the government imposed a healthcare tax on everyone in the country. For this reason the man had to work in a dark coal mine 5 more years of his life. He died the day after he retired. Was it moral to make this man work 5 more years for other's healthcare?

I need to write a sermon for a serivice next week, and i was thinking of using a pack of cards as an illustration. I'm unsure how to go about writing a logical sermon using them. Anyone got any ideas? (i.e. ace represents one God etc)

Even though almost all atheists and agnostics have differing points of view, I have yet to be flamed by either for my beliefs (or lack there of) where Christians often argue amongst themselves over seeming meaningless details in the bible. Why is that?

My son's father has not seen him in 8 years. He came back into the picture for a couple of months this year, and has stopped. My husband thinks that I should invite him to my sons baptism and I am just tired of seeing my son hurt over this situation. I don't know what to do, I don't want my son to blame me in the future. What's your advice?

I have a debt that went delinquent in 11/98. Unknowingly, I made a payment on the account in 4/04. I now know that I have "restarted" the SOL (which is 6 years) Since the debt was from 1998, it HAS been removed from my credit report (as of 2005) My question is: Since I am responsible for this debt until 4/10, if the company decides to sue me, and therefore put out a "judgement", can they turn around and report the "judgement" to the credit bureaus? (I am halfway through w/SOL. Should I take the chance on the next 3 years?) And to all you that say I should pay because it is the "moral" thing to do- I have PAID, I paid 7 years that I could not get auto loan, even a STUDENT Loan..

on the Global Corruption Index, a survey of 133 nations conducted by Transparency International (an anti-graft watchdog). A score of 10 means a country is seen as being 'highly clean', and a score of zero means 'highly corrupt.'

How come more secular European countries are less corrupt than the USA?

The least corrupt country in the world was Finland, a very secular, Scandanvian country. Finland scored 9.7 out of 10. Bangladesh is the world's most corrupt nation with a score of 1.3.

Poor countries with political unrest are typically more corrupt. Here is where the USA ranked among the rich Western nations.

Finland- 9.7
Iceland- 9.6- Denmark
New Zealand- 9.5
Singapore- 9.4
Sweden- 9.3
Netherlands- 8.9
Australia- 8.8
Norway- 8.8
Switzerland- 8.8
Canada- 8.7
Luxembourg-8.7
United Kingdom- 8.7
Austria- 8.0
Hong Kong- 8.0
Germany- 7.7
Belgium- 7.6
Ireland- 7.5
USA- 7.5
Chile- 7.4

I have spent between $300-$600 on maintaining my 05 Camry. Is this too much? Are there any good but not too expensive mechanics in the New York Tristate area?
