Cook the pasta and add a tin of chopped tomatoes with black pepper and salt for taste. Add tin of tuna and warm through. Grate cheese all over the top! Lush!

Cook the pasta according to the packet then drain the pasta, reserving a little of the cooking water. Then take a small tub of Mascapone cheese and stir into the pasta, loosen it to a smooth sauce with the reserved water.

This by itself is a lovely cheesey pasta sauce. Now add some stuff that you like!! Some ideas: marinated red peppers, roast chicken, rocket.

Doesn't get much simpler than that!

Pasta is so easy to work with and it all depends on the ingredients you have on hand. In our household pasta is a regular go to quick easy meal. If you like shrimp you can easily peel and de-vein the shrimp saute' in butter and garlic and toss with a little pasta and add some chopped parsley as a garnish.

If you are not into shrimp you can take the pasta and cook it and add it to a casserole that has some precut chicken sauteed with onions and garlic and cream of chicken soup and vegetables of your choice (we like peas and carrots the frozen kind) a handful of cheese topped with dry bread crumbs mixed with a couple TBS. of butter and baked in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes and feel free to change it around.

You can also just add hamburger and some spaghetti sauce. Check out the foodnetwork.com they have a ton of easy pasta recipes there. Hope this helps

Try some napolitana sauce which you can buy in tubs from supermarkets-it's just tomatoes and herbs. Then you can add whatever you like, such as grilled chicken breast or veg such as peppers, courgette and aubergine and sprinkle cheese on the top. If you want to make the sauce yourself, just simmer a tin of chopped tomatoes with a chopped onion and some herbs until softened and most of the juice has been absorbed. It tastes nicer if you add a little sugar and seasoning. to make bolognaise, fry about 150-200g minced beef per person then drain off the fat and add a stock cube before adding the tomatoes. The more you practice, the easier it will become. :)

1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1/4 cup plain yogurt

1/4 cup chopped fresh dill weed

8 leaves lettuce

Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold running water. Drain again and set aside.
In food processor or through a sieve, puree cottage cheese. Combine with yogurt and lemon juice; mix well
In a large bowl, combine pasta, green beans, yogurt mixture and dill; stir to mix. Discard skin from salmon and break into chunks; add to salad and stir gently to mix. Add pepper to taste. Line serving plate with lettuce leaves and mound salad on top.

SIMPLE SOLUTION: INGREDIENTS

12 large pasta shells
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup minced shallots
1 bunch Swiss chard, coarsely chopped (about 3 cups)
1 cup white mushrooms, chopped
1 pound firm tofu, crumbled
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan or soy Parmesan cheese
juice and zest of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 cups tomato-based pasta sauce, bottled or homemade

1. Cook the shells in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until they are al dente, about 10 minutes. When the pasta is cooked, drain it and set it aside.

2. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the shallots and cook until softened, about 4 minutes. Add the chard and mushrooms, and cook until just tender, about 3 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl.

3. Add the tofu, Parmesan, lemon juice and zest, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

4. Preheat the oven to 350F. Using a teaspoon, stuff the filling into the shells until well packed. Spread a layer of the pasta sauce in the bottom of a shallow 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Arrange the shells on top of the sauce, and pour the remaining sauce over and around the shells.

5. Cover and bake for 30 minutes or until hot.

add some water, cornflour and milk. chuck in some bacon and/or chicken. boil the sauce until it thickens, and add in black pepper or whatever you think would go well really. If youve got pesto sauce use that.
