I have to appear in court on Monday becasue a credit card company is suing me. They say that I owe them about $500 more than I believe I owe. Any good sound legal advice?

I would think that many really haunted places would be more in the south..as well as in Europe...but, I realize that they are nearly everywhere..even in Hawaii!!

If you have or think of other cool places...besides sending me ghost sites..I would appreciate this alot...you can also email stories if you want....

I tell ghost stories..and I like to make up my own.... as well.I get inspired by true stories..and also ones that people make up!!

I am going to purchase two cornsnakes that will share a tank. Is it ok if they are the opposite sex? Will it stress them out or will they be fine? I don't mind if they breed but I am just wondering if there are any risks to their physical or mental health?

I just bought two baby turtles yesterday that I absolutely love. Squirt is roughly the size of a quarter not including appendages and Bullet is slightly larger.
I have a water dish for them and the bedding is reptile bark. They seem to be liking it, althought they aren't eating, which I heard is not uncommon after a big change in a young turtle's life.
I have a water dish that they can access but the problem is they have to climb INTO the water to drink and when they get out they get absoultely COVERED in bark, so excessively they look like little porcupines. ;)

How do I get it so that they aren't covered with bark when they get out of the water?

More power to anybody who drinks, but I usually choose not to. I get criticized all the time about my choice in being straight edge. Okay, some could understand that I don't want to smoke or do drugs, and believe me, they agree with me on those, but some of my peers don't respect the fact that I don't drink at all. Some even find it surprising when I have mentioned that I never actually had a drink in my life. Never really wanted to either. Only thing closest to me having a drink was taking a sip of when I was a little kid, but I was curious. What is this so called "social rule" that applies to alcohol? I turned 21 last month, and rejected alcohol everytime someone tried offering me. Like when I went to an Indian casino, my sister offered to by me a drink. I refused. Same with the following day, at a birthday party, my cousin, my uncles, and others were saying "Serve a shot for him" or "Want a beer?" and I rejected. Some tell me to not knock it until I try it, but I don't want to try.

Yeah so I really like him and he never notices me I'm a skater and he used to be one to but then he changed and like other people also like him I will cry so badif he doesnt like me cause I am really crazy over him and I can not stop thinking about him please help me to try to get a way to get him to notice and like me. Please read carefully: Obsesses about quitting smoking, justifies it sometimes - has had The Patch for a couple of months but has never used it. Criminal behavior: Stealing - cannot stop - has been caught and prosecuted - scared to death of being caught again - but still cannot stop. Does not think of consequences at all - figures it can be fixed before anyone finds out. Cannot concentrate at work - boss is starting to get fed up but is dealing with it now. Takes too much time off. Wants to leave early. Can't finish a task without being distracted several times - must get up and walk outside, smoke, get coffee, etc.
Feeling hopeless almost all the time - Sometimes feels OK but not an extreme high (probably not bipolar?) Gambles a lot. Financial issues. Gets drunk on weekends, not to the point of physical sickness, but just short of it. Not a drug abuser. Does not hear voices in head. Not anti-social. in fact very friendly and outgoing. Not suicidal. Can't sleep through the night.

I am writing a vb6 program that requires I know whether or not the user is using the windows classic theme on windows xp or not. This same program has to be able to determine which picture is being used as the desktop wallpaper.

I have searched around but do not seem to find any code which does them (check for Win Classic & Wallpaper) so I want anyone out there to help me out.

Ok so today I was not home and my mother called me to tell me that a police officer along with 3 other people who looked like cops where at my house. She told me one mentioned I have a warrant out of my arrest. So right away I called the police station to find out this information and see if it was in fact vailid. They checked the NCIC. (checks nation wide+) to see if there was anything and nothing came up in the system at all. I asked the officer even if it was just issued would it be delay he said nope your name comes up with any filling charges or warrants. The other thing is I have fallen behind on my car payments and the repo man tryed placing false warrant report on my mailbox and saying call this number ect... but i did as before and nothing came up as well and the cops said it was bogus just the repo man doing his job. I know I need to pay my bills, but you think this is something to worry about the warrant thing not being one?
