I am going to purchase two cornsnakes possibly from differant places. How should I go about introducing them or, should they be fine if I just put them in together? They will most likely be the same sex.

I would keep them separate for several weeks, especially if you are getting them from two different places. Make sure they don't have mites or any other problems. You shouldn't have a problem putting them in the same cage when you end their quarantine period.

The snakes will be fine housed together as long as they are about the same size. You should only be concerned if one of the snakes is a king snake. It is called a "king snake" b/c it will kill other snakes.
In getting 2 snakes from different places, I would be concerned about bacteria and/or snake mites. You should quarantine the snakes until you are positive that one will not infect the other. Usually 10 days to 2 weeks will give you enough time to see any immediate problems.
I must ask if you have ever owned any snakes before this? If not, it would be wise to befriend a knowledgeable snake owner before you make any purchases. Snakes are cool to have, but they do require constant care and upkeep.
I am not an expert, but I have raised ratsnakes [like cornsnakes but much meaner] and a female red tailed boa constrictor.

The majority of snake people will tell you it is never a good idea to cohab snakes together. Go to http://cornsnakes.com/forums/ and search for cohabing snakes and you'll find tons of advice on the subject. Plus it's a GREAT site to come and talk corns! :)

Ask the people you but them from. They will probably know.
