My car fuel pump went bad and needs replacing. I took it to Firestone and they're saying it's gonna cost me $600 to fix it When they told me this I nearly dropped dead. Now I can't even get to work because of this. I tired getting a loan but because of not having much credit history I got turned down by everyone I applied to. I need help bad. All my life nothing but bad things have happened to me and I don't know why. Sometimes I think life just isn't worth living. This isn't just about my car but everything else in my miserable life. I guess What I need to know is if what Firestone is charging me is reasonable and how do I get the money to fix my car. Hopefully, I'll still be around to read the comments.

The conservatives and independents in this country are starving for a candidate with a proven record of leadership and success, and bold new ideas. The current crop of GOP candidates just ain't cutting it. We need you buddy.

What the heck are you waiting for?

My two year old is driving me crazy. He has started running away a lot lately- at the park, at the store, in the parking lot, at the community center (which has his preschool class)

He will pull his feet out and drag if I hold his wrist and since I have a baby it is really hard. He has always enjoyed running away at the store, but it is getting much worse lately.

I dont make it into a game.

Putting him in the cart doesnt work because he either hits his sister, throws stuff out of the cart, or climbs out (while it is moving)

I just need some ideas...

I've had a really really really really bad day. Anyone have any ideas on how I can pick myself up? I don't want to watch a favorite movie (tried that already, didn't work). I don't want to listen to upbeat music (tried that too, again, it didn't work). Not even arts and crafts which usually picks me right up since I get so into it I get over whatever it was that made me so "Ugh!" in the first place.

What suggestions? And to those that are going to say stupid things like "blow yourself up", you only show your ultra low level of maturity, security, and intelligence.

I'm part of the GSA at my school, and we'd really like to have a movie night on national coming out day. Unfortunately, we can't watch anything rated-R, and most movies dealing with being gay, coming out, and things of the sort are over pg-13.
So far I've found Saved! (which is great, but more focused on pregnancy and religion), and Sissy Frenchfry (but it's only half an hour long.)
Any suggestions?

I am not Christian but I was interested in the fundamental differences between the different versions, are they mainly interpreted differently, or are they completely different?

My friends and I were having this discussion the other night. The question pretains mostly to illegal immigrants who can't afford to have kids but keep having them despite the fact that they are on welfare. The idea is that if you sign up to receive assitance from the government, you should be scheduled every 3 months to have the Depo-Provera (birth control) shot in order to keep receiving the welfare provided by the tax paying Americans. If you don't go to get the shot, they cut all benefits. No questions asked. Just wanted to get some other views from this because I live in central texas where illegal immigrants and just trash in general are abundant, and you always see them with like 4 kids and pregnant with another one. It's disgusting.

My boyfriend rented a room out of a 6 bedroom house. A few months into doing this , he asked me to move in with him. I moved into the room he was renting with him, and we have been living here together from January of 07. I never signed a lease and we were going to move out due on Oct.1 2007. Our other home fell thru and got rented to somone else. My boyfriend is out of town, and i am here and the other roomates asked me to leave. Can they kick me out of the house even thou we still paid rent for all of Sept. We still have 4 days left. Can they tell me to leave because i never signed a lease and i am tresspassing. They threatened to tow my car and everything. Who is in the right!

Help please!

I'm seeing a few posts around here lately claiming that coersion hasn't happened in the last 15 years, and this same poster has repeatedly asked for links.

Does coerscion still happen? You read this handful of links, and answer for yourself please.

Okay, my rats keep on pushing bedding through the bars and it normally sticks all over the bars and stuff, most of it falls out of the cage, but ive just cleaned them and they are straight at it... so its not dirty...
They do it with all of their bedding... but I use 2 types, this cushiony type of white bedding and this blue shredded dish cloth material type of bedding...
Also when they do it... the bedding rides up part of the cage and its always in the same bit.. so could it be a draft or they dont like the bedding or anything else?

And help others to live their lives to the fullest? This isn't going to last forever, so why not work together to make the short time that everyone has to be excellent? Sure, you won't exist later, but everything right now is real and you are really experiencing this, isn't it a waste to just be miserable all the time?
