A STUPID man was walking down the street, carrying a brown paper bag. He ran into one of his friends, who asked, "Hey! What do you have in the bag?"

The man tells his friend that he has some fish in the bag. His friend says, "Well, I'll make you a bet. If I can guess how many fish you have in the bag, you'll have to give me one."

The man says, "I'll tell you what. If you tell me how many fish I have in this bag, I'll give you both of them."

A young man got a license to trap furs for the winter in Alaska. After buying supplies in a local town he went into a nearby saloon. Approaching the bartender he asked, "Is there any action to be had in this town?"

"What do you mean, action?" asked the bartender.

"I mean, are there any women," said the trapper.

"No, but there's always old Joe," replied the bartender.

"No thanks," said the trapper. "I don't go for that kind of stuff."

The next spring the trapper came back into town. After being snowed in for nine months he was in a slightly different frame of mind. He walked into the bar and asked, "Is there any action in town?"

"There's still old Joe," replied the bartender.

"If I were to go for old Joe," he asked, "Who would have to know about it?"

"Well," said the bartender, "there's you, me, old Joe of course, and these three guys sitting at the other end of the bar."

"What do we need those three guys for?" asked the trapper.

"To hold old Joe," replied the bartender. "He don't go for that kind of stuff, either."

New series started on channel 4 last night. Good to have this superior show back, though last nights eppie was a bit disappointing, didn't series 4 end with Jacks pregnant girlfriend being held hostage? I know she was alright but there was no mention of this. Anyway its good to have back, especially the lovely Danny!

I have a webcomic http://www.danielbeadle.com/comics/roe.php and a corresponding webserial http://www.destructivefiction.com/runningonempty.html and I'm not sure how to arrange them for easy viewing.

For both, I added a control panel for easy navigation. My question is this: Should the links that go to the comic/serial point people to the FIRST episode, or the MOST RECENT episode.

I used to direct people to the most recent, but people tended to click "Next" and get all confused. But Penny Arcade http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic does it that way, so should I?

... ask very few questions, but seem to always answer yours? I mean, a lot of times, I leave little messages to them in my answers... but if they rarely ask questions, I rarely get an opportunity to communicate TO them... unless I choose their answer as best... ...
Maybe it's a strategem to make me choose theirs as best answer?... Lol...
