Like the 1st guy said Dookie and Nimrod are both great Green Day albums I prefer Dookie out of the two I've got all there albums and there isn't one that I don't like. If you want a mix of some of there moore popular stuff get International Super Hits it's kinda a best of album it hasn't got anything from American Idiot on it though! Still good though.

Disregard Rage, he/she is clearly new to music. The best two albums, as stated previously are Dookie and Nimrod, hands down. Warning was also pretty epic. Songs should be Time of Your Life (the one everyone *should* know), Longview, Scattered, and Welcome to Paradise.
Yeah. If you're really wanting to check out their old stuff, give Sheinanigans a go. That album was pretty alright, but Dookie and Nimrod are when they started getting their truly distinctive sound.
