I actually think the British & Germans are far more alike than either of us would care to admit.
We are both passionate about our football and beer, and the Germans I've met and become friendly with have had a very good sense of humour, not at all like they're steryotyped out to be.
Just my thoughts and obsevations,

lol Im american but im stationed in Germany and they arent as cold as some make them out to be. I actually have a lot of fun out here. As for the UK, i was very young (4 years old) so im afraid i dont remember much.

I am German,and i hate it,when the britisch people are beeing called Tommies.My husband is english,and lives with me in Germany.He has been called Tommie over here.And its not nice.
