A few weeks ago (maybe about two or three or so) I was bench pressing with free weights when I felt a strain in the middle of my back. Soon after, a big lump formed back there, so I knew it was a pulled muscle. The pain went away after a short time, but the lump is still there even though it's much smaller. Is it risky to start working out again or okay since there's no pain?

I had the disc removed from between c-5 and c-6. I also had much bone spur material removed from c-5 and c-6. I have all the symptoms which I had prior to my surgery, plus a new one; partial numbness in my left arm, cheifly in my left thumb. My surgeon says this is all "normal" and should go away. But being 5 weeks removed from the surgery, I still feel no different-and with the numbness, a little worse! Am I being impatient? Shouldnt I feel some improvement by now, and would it be wise to get a second opinion??

My professor recently published a large portion of an essay I wrote for her class in a major, American newspaper without my consent. The article did credit my name and, as far as understand, I was not harmed by the publication. However, by submitting that assignment, did I transfer the copyright to her?

OK. I'm 14 and giggly. Whenever i'm at school and kids make stupid jokes, I just crack up. I keep thinking about the jokes, and them i have to try not no laugh in the middle of class, usually unsuccesfully.
For example, me and this kid had to make up a conversation in Spanish and while we were making up the conversation, he was making all these stupid jokes and I was just laughing and giggling and making a fool out of myself.
I think that I laugh more when I'm nervous, so possibly I'm nervous around this boy?
I don't know but will this kid think that I'm stupid for being so giggly at his jokes? Help! How can I stop laughing at every stupid joke any one makes????
