I once had a question on here about different cultures and some dude called me a "DIVERSITY EMBRACER" (in a negative context)

Is being a "diversity embracer" a negative thing?

Just curious

I'm purchasing a Notebook so I can actually be around the family while I play games, rather than a hermit in my room. However, I want the best gaming laptop I can afford, and I'm not a fan of Intel, so I'm going with AMD.

Now, AMD has released Turion. I don't know anything about it other than it saves battery life, but does that mean it's not as powerful as Athlon?

Please help, I'm a heavy gamer trying to build a laptop from HP, and I don't know if I should choose Turion or Athlon for my processor.

Keep in mind I'll be gaming the entire time.

Thanks!

is that a problem?

I mean, I wear them when in public....just not usually when I am at home.......no one can see.

So is it ok, or normal to say the least?

I guess if you think about it, gravity has to be equally "distributed" (for lack of a better word), because the earth is round.
But then I've heard about these "Mystery spots" where they say there is no gravity or that the pull of gravity is not as strong.
Do these spots affect the earth in any way?
Could they possibly be placed there strategically (by God.. or for those who dont believe in god.. some "higher being" who created the earth) to keep the earth on track and rotating correctly?

Based on the argument that if there is a God, we will know about Them in the afterlife, but if there is no God, there's no afterlife, so we won't know, because we'll just be dead.

I believe this is largely affected by our personal spiritual beliefs. My analysis is that the majority of religious people, specially Christians & Muslims, are stuck in 'Pre-Conventional' levels with a few at 'Convetional'.

*Pre-Conventional
Individuals are concerned with external rewards('heaven'?) and punishment and obey authority ('God-Church'?) to avoid detrimental personal consequences (i.e. "Hell"?).
There is no recognition that others' points of view are any different from one's own view. (narrow minded?)

*Conventional
Lives up to 'expectations' of others. (Good-boy/Good-Girl stage.) Rules and authority exists only to further support 'stereotypical social roles' (i.e. 'male dominance'?).

*Post-Conventional
Aware that people hold different values, they seek creative solutions to ethical dilemmas. Balance of concerns for individual and concern for common good. Guided by an internal sets of values and standards, encouraging others to think for themselves.

Agree? Disagree?
