Do you mean why do theists fear technology and science? Atheists embrace it. Technology and Science is why I'm an atheist, it is what I believe in because I can see it.

As others have stated for the most part atheist do not fear science and technology.
I do not either fear science and technology but think they are both great frontiers.
But for a good read, check out the book technolopy.

Not sure where you are going with this, but I'm a Christian. I truly enjoy my computer, the internet, video tapes/players and dvds/players, modern medicine, and levi jeans.
I also heartily encourage study of the legitimate sciences. Especially botany, zoology, biology and astronomy.

I don't fear technology and science. I fear fanatics who hijack it for their own devices -- case in point: That Creation Museum in Ohio. Dino was Adam and Eve's pet.

I'm atheist, and I love technology and science, even though I don't believe in darwin's evolution.
By now, you should have realized this question is idiotic and moronic. And you spelt atheist wrong.

We don't. Many theists do - because science proves their religions wrong (take the bible, that claims the earth is older than the sun)

why is it christians and I'm presuming your a christian because of the question and they always do it.... impose one of their short commings onto others.... science and technologie are primariliy athiests tools.... we don't go around fearing our tools..
