...about socks. I'm picky about my socks. Does anyone know where I can get a pair of socks that hug my feet really well, are thick and cushioned, come to mid calf and don't have anything itchy in them. My feet are always cold and I hate the feeling of cheap thin socks and not all socks say what they really are on the covers. I hate whool and I don't have time to sock shop with a three year old and waiting for a bladder surgery. I'm 29, so I'm not wanting like navy colored ones. I like just a basic white gym sock. I don't care about cute and trendy. I want to be comfortable, but not Grandma orthopedic comfortable.

I'm a giant of a person and I dream of making a giant custom bed.. has anyone heard of some method to make your own bed that is very comfortable?

Me and my BF have 2 small children, one 3 yrs and the other 4 mos. We all live together (in his house) and I just went back to work from a partial-paid maternity leave. My BF pays the house-pmt and therefore expects me to pay all the rest of the bills, including all utilities, car pmt, health ins, medical copays, daycare, etc, etc. I know his house pmt is a lot but trying to afford all these bills on top of baby formula (which can cost up to $6 or more per day) is not working for me and I am struggling deeply, somedays not eating. My daycare cost is $1000 per mo .and I asked him to at least help with this and he said "no that I choose to work so I need to pay for the expense. " He complains that he never gets ahead because he has to "borrow" me money for the kids expenses that I should be taking care of because of him paying the house payment. He makes a lot more than me. Recently he said that I either get a new job and stop borrowing from him or move out. What should I do?

I once had a very powerful magnet, it measured 1" x 1" x 5", more or less. I wonder if it was made with a welder? I think I heard somewhere that a person could make a normal piece of steel into a magnet by attaching a welder's leads to it for a specific amount of time, and in a certain manner. Is this possible? If so, what type of welder do you think a person should use? I just want the magnet to play around with, maybe use at work if the need arose. Plus, I like fooling around with things like this.
