People are always bashing the idea of same-sex marriage, saying that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman. End of discussion. Yet if marriage is this ideal of perfect and forever bond, why is it that divorce is still allowed and at such a high rate? There are millions of people who are married two or more times. Honestly, marriage should be an option for anyone, regardless of their sexual orientation. It doesn't have to take place in a church where I do understand and respect a person's religion. But everyone is entitled to their piece of happiness and people like Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney should stop trying to please the conservative portion of our nation. We are living in a new and modern world, where so much more is now acceptable compared to 100 years ago. What do you think?

I am 5'8, 147 pounds. The most I ever been. I been 125 pounds since high school and the past year I went up 147 so now I want to lose all the weight and go back to what is normal for me which is 125.

I run/walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes, take an intermediate yoga class and use the weight machines for 20 minutes a day for 6 days a week.
I eat a balance diet but still can;t seem to be losing weight. When I am not at the gym I am home crying cause I am so fat. what can I do? i need to lose the weight ASAP. My life is on hold till I lose the weight. I refuse to go to any social events or see family cause i feel horrile about myself.
any other suggestions?

their about an inch and half long and totally refuse to eat. i drop a few pellets in and they act like its not even right in front of their face. i leave them by my window every day so they get tons of sun, clean their water about every 2 or 3 days and they still wont eat. ive tried feeding them carrots and lettuce too. whats up?

I think it's wrong what others are doing to this individual. They are ignoring her. In my opinion that is very wrong. But she greatly irritates me too. Will she have no choice, but to eventually change in this environment? I feel embarrassed for her. I want to tell her that it doesn't matter what others think, but sometimes being yourself in this society is not acceptable. I feel that in some ways she is a mirror of myself or maybe she is a mirror of all the negative things that we hate about ourselves. She represents it. What should I do? If I were in her position what would I do? Happiness is fleeting. I wish everyone was happy. I wish people didn't form clicks. ;(

I am dieing here. My dad has brought his son from russia over from his ex wifre. he lives with us and hes 21. Hes absoultely dreadful, demented, no common sense, etc. My mom hates him becuase he does the most idiotic things and never apoligizes. My dad also treats him diffferently and always argues with my mom about random things. It makes me want to break down and cry. My hands are shaky causing the bad writing. PLEASE, PLEASE help! I dont want my mom to divorce from my dad!
