I have Zinn's "People's History of America" - I respect anyone who writes History.

Not everybody likes him. Howard zinn (at least in A People's History to the United States), focuses too much on class conflict and portrays the political elite as evil. He writes with a clear liberal bias. Maybe that's what he was going for, but I prefer my authors with a little more objectivity.

most republicans, the Mormons from what I have been told, and anyone who is a member of the Ku Klux Klan or the American neo Nazis. Strange I always thought republicans and Mormons were opposition to each other.
