I'm considering selling my home due to financial hardships. It needs some work to bring it up to standards and to make it more sellable on the market. It needs paint, new windows and the flooring needs work. I've had some plumbing leaks. I may even have some termite damage. I'm not sure, but if they were to inspect it, I know something of sorts will pop up. I can't afford to have the work done. Anyone know anything about the "We buy your house as is" companies? They claim no fees. Not having to deal with a realtor and showings sounds good. I have no problem selling my home at a reduced price to compensate for repairs. Is this legitimate? What is the hidden catch? It sounds like a good trade off, but I want to research before I commit.

I want to open a bank account that makes it easy for me to withdraw money, and rent an apartment in Sydney, it must have a lot of ATMs, least fees and least opening minimum amount (I dont have to deposit a million dollars to open an account, as few as 1000 would be great) and with least penalty... how can i get a list of banks in Sydney in general?
Is it true that withdrawing from ATMs is NOT free in sydney?

Christians follow God, so, who do you follow? It's ingrained in our DNA that we're all in need for a leader, so, initially, no one was leader so, really, who lead you? And don't say "no one" because, knowing a bit of psychology, atheists are as in need for leadership as anyone.

I have been interested, or you could say drawn to Wicca for sometime now. This isn't a fad or something I want to play around with, I am interested in learning so much.
What kind of information can I find and where do I look to get started? I'm kind of at a standstill right now.

I was just wondering what peoples theories were about black holes. I know that we do not posses the technology to venture into one and even light cannot escape. What do you think is on the other side of a black hole. A wormhole to another regeion of space? A crushing force of infinate mass?

I'm just curious to see what other people think is inside a black hole. The only thing I know is that the closer you get to a black hole, the slower time goes. For example, if you where to have two identical watches and drop one in, the watch that is traveling towards the black hole would start to slow down. So say 30 seconds have passed since you dropped the one watch in, the watch that is travelling towards the black hole would only read 15 seconds have passed. Pretty interesting.

So whats your take?
