Hi. I'm trying to replace a Citroen AX Speedo cable, but it goes along the back of the dashboard from the instument panel and presumably through the bulkhead somewhere. However, I can't find where it goes from behind the instrument panel, or even the end that goes into the gearbox. Can anyone help me locate it?

I have an upright Currier piano, and I have no idea of its age but it's in need of tuning. It's in pretty good shape but the high notes are horribly out of tune. Does anyone know the average cost of tuning any piano at all?

When it comes to airports, people will always say "Ugh, we don't want it here. Build it somewhere else." But then the people in "somewhere else" say the exact same thing, and meanwhile there are planes circling overhead, low on fuel and looking for a place to land.

Unless people want to revert to the way we use to live in the 1800s and take a week-long train ride to get from New York to California (or a two-week boat ride to get from Washington to London), then everyone would agree that we need airports, correct?

Shouldn't the federal and state governments have the authority to build, upgrade, and expand public airports as necessary, with complete immunity to public opposition?

It's a virtual certainty that people are going to oppose expansion of an airport, but as unpleasant as it is, it needs to be done. Air travel is the backbone of the world economy.

Is this a cynical point of view?

If a wife worked and saved all her money in her bank account while the husband worked and paid all expenses, such as mortgage, taxes, insurance, food, utilities etc. The wife refuses to pay any family expenses. This has been for about 10 years.

My 13th birthday is coming up and I sort of want a special present as it's quite a special birthday. I've always wanted a dog yet for 3 days a week there's noone at home for school hours so that's not an option no matter how much I want it. My parents used to have 5 cats, 3 were still alive when I was born. Last year the last one died at 17. It was really sad. I know the whole family are missing having a cat in the house, the way they can sense if you're sad or happy and generally keep you company. Our next door neighbour has just died and the sons asked whether we'd like to have the cat. Everyone leapt at the idea but then the sons changed their minds. We have 11 pets 4fish, 3rabbits, 2chickens, 1hamster, 1guineapig. I used to look after them the most but have slipped due to school work but am determined to keep going again. I don't just want it as something to play with that's cute but as a companion. The only really possibly a kitten is because it needs to be ok with rabbits.

maybe its just me but it seems like most wierdos and generally strange people look funny physically too.

like my neighbor for example - he is stick skinny, with a goofy build, beady eyes, and crooked teeth. he laughs at stuff that isn't funny, he collects bedroom slippers (has like 40 pairs), and reaks of body odor. he is weird.

why is it that most strange people look strange too? is it genetic or something?

I was at a party with my friends. My girl was cool with it. I came home late unaware of the time till i got back to my dorm room. I didnt call or go over because I knew she had class early in the morning. The next day she was mad at me for not calling or going over. Is she right or just over jealous?

With all the murder, child abuse, war, rape, starvation - don't you think it's swell that people are sure to give Him props when accepting awards?

He seems especially busy during Grammy season, but doesn't seem to care so much about the Oscars. Do you find that odd?

My husband was the only child of 8 who didn't have a place of his own to live, so before his mother passed away she asked him to move into her house and take care of things. We have asked his siblings to buy the house and they say no. We have fixed the house up somewhat but it needs a lot more work but we have been hesitant since it doesn't have insurance because it is in heirship still. We do not pay rent, we pay taxes and keep everything up. My husband is constantly helping his siblings out with money. Now, one of his sisters is having financial trouble and we are just "thinking" that she is going to try to get us to all of a sudden pay her rent or ask us to move out so she can move in. If anyone knows anything about the law, please answer this question with advice. We do plan on moving out but we wanted to wait a couple of years to get a nice down payment. But that is going to keep up from fixing this house up even more, we can't afford both. Serious answers only please.
