What is she saving it for? Your future? If you guys are living comfortably on one income, her income sitting in a savings account would be a great savings for your future!

well in islam, this is allowed and the hsband cant touch the wifes money, it is up to the wife if she wants to contribute or not! (i no ur probably not a muslim) anyway if ur wife is like this. dont buy her any clothes, purfume and treats etc. when she asks why this has stopped say u cant afford it. if there is something that needs buying in the house tell her ur only prepared to but half of the money towards it and she must do the same! also regarding phone, if u dont use it, get it cut off, when ur wife asks why just say ur not prepared to pay it every month when u dont use it.

i am a muslim and i contribute, a husband cant be expected to pay everything it would just be too much pressure.

i hope u get it sorted.

Might be a problem with the husband, but I'd say the wife wouldn't have any problems at all ... well, at least as far as the money in the bank.

It's obvious the husband is a slave or a passionate caregiver, it either matters to him or it doesn't, if it's been going on for 10 years, it's a little late to complain, BUT, better late than never.
