As opposed to 12-2 with only black and white (plus a ground)... This is only was guess. What does the red wire do? I noticed in a professionally wired switched light in my house the red from the light was wired into the switch and the black was just capped. If I am doing a shed wiring project (maybe to power a band saw in the future) do I need to mess with the red wire (12-3 - if that is correct?)??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I live with 16 other people and share a kitchen and fridges. Since a certain person moved in two months ago, things keep dissapearing from the fridge (a six pack of beer etc.). The other day someone nicked my cheese so I wrote a polite note not accusing anyone, asking whoever took it to replace it and ask before they took next time. There is now a note attached to my note saying "suck my balls, *****." While it would be satisfying to write "you'd have to grow a set first" in response, is there anything else I could do to move the problem toward some sort of resolution rather than coming down to this person's level? We don't know who it is (suspicion is based solely on the fact that this didn't happen before this person moved in) and therefore can't accuse them outright.
BTW, I don't like leaving notes as a rule, but it wasn't the first thing they took so someone had to do something.

A few weeks ago, I had a dream that I was at work (I work for Security at a healthcare facility) and was called to a unit. The medical staff mentioned that their patient wasn't staying in his room. He appeared to be heavily medicated. Once he was in bed, his upper body appeared to be "pulled" uppwards. He seemed to be having a vision, as he looked to the sky. Then he looked at me (not appearing to be medicated) and said "God is going to see you." I asked him why and he replied in an evil tone "so that we can be with you." After I woke up, I interpreted the dream that God is going to judge me and I'm going to hell (would be the reason that God is going to see me, and going to hell because of the evil voice.) Last night I had another dream that I was speaking to my mother and we were talking about a problem I had, apparently about my sister. I gave her my answer and she said "just go and see God." Any clue to what the dreams are all about.

lim (sqrt(9x^2+x)-3x) as x-->infinity

ok I know the answer already is 1/6
but I am unsure how they got that.
if you square it you get 9x^2-6xsqrt(9x^2+x)+9
if that is correct what do you do know? Square it again? to eliminate the sqrt once more?

Do you think there are too many people who don't put themselves in their child's shoes when picking out names?

Why do parents pick names that are hard to pronounce?

Or why do they pick common and easy to pronounce names but then change the spelling?

Do you think there aren't enough parents out there who take in to consideration that it gets very annoying having to pronounce your name for everyone? Or that it gets annoying having to spell your name for everyone?

Or maybe they just don't care--as long as it sounds good?

What is the easiest way to determine the equivalent of an exposure of an F-Stop to its shutter speed.

ex. f/2.8 % 500 is equivalent to f/4 @ 250

and f/4 @ 250 is equivalent to f/ @ 500.

Its been working fine for a couple of days now, but all of a sudden i couldn't get a signal from it. Before this i got a weak one and a strong connection. I used the strong and now all i get is the weak. I tried to unplug it and plug it back in and now the lights won't even turn on. I've tried every plug and they all work fine. Help!
