Our family and immediate sub-culture usually define our concepts of morality, especially during our childhood.

Then, after we leave our immediate family unit, we will tend to embrace as many other morals and inspirations that we feel capable of understanding and implementing.

So, for me personally, my family and my peers defined me during my formative years.

Then, during college, I was influenced by the great scholars of the ancient world, including Plato and Aristotle.

Now, I find my way with Carl Rogers, Ken Wilber and Eckhart Tolle.
