I live just outside of Nashville. There is SO much to do and see here. Mansions and plantations- Cheekwood, the Hermitage (Andrew Jacksons home) Belle Meade Plantation, Belmont Mansion, Carnton Plantation, Traveller's Rest, Mansker's Station, Rock Castle, and more. Music- Downtown Nashville with lower Broadway and Printer's Alley, Country Music Hall of Fame, Musician's Hall of Fame, Music Row (all the recording studios and record labels), tons of honky tonks and local musicians hangouts. Nature- Warner parks for hiking, beautiful drives through the country, lakes and water sports, beaches, pick your own produce places. There's the Farmer's Market, loads of museums, a symphony hall, the Nashville ballet, a performing arts center where off broadway plays appear, great shopping great neighborhoodds to explore, great restaurants and wonderful people who will be willing to help you find whatever you are looking for! Have a great visit!

I personally havent....but i have had 2 friends live there for months. They found it to be boring because there isnt much to do. However, the food is good supposedly. I probably would find it more entertaining.....but my friend is a big musician and he wasnt too into it. If you are a city guy, it wouldnt be the best place to go. If not....then go for it.
