How do you go about getting a loan for a home when your credit is really bad? I mean really bad, like 480 to 500. I have no money for a down payment, but my family qualifies for all kinds of free money programs. I just need a lender who will give me a regular mortgage loan. Anyone know what I can do?

It is my B-Day today and I am 27. I have 2 daughters,one is 10,the other 3. I left my hubby 9 months ago because his drinking was taking over all of our lives. He decided he didn't want to change for me or the girls so I have no choice but to divorce him.(I don't want to get in it cause it is a long story)Anyway,I am so upset with myself because I have nothing to my name and I am not getting any younger. I don't even have a Ged. I work at a grocery store and all these young kids are going off to school and it just makes me upset because I feel like my life is going nowhere. Has anyone out there gone through a situation like mine? I feel like my Birthday is a big slap in the face.

My husband and I have been going through alot of crap the past 12wks. In my original question I explained the situation in depth but to make a long story short, a "friend" of his (female and very jealous) told him I had cheated on him 2yrs ago (lie). He packed up, left his job and has been running ever since. He said it was all his fault anyway. (The night in question he left me, angry, didn't call and came home later the next day). Then for the next 6 wks or so he would just disappear and then show back up at his moms house. Finally, he gave me a chance and we are working thru things. But, he has been going back and forth to IN to work(???) When he came home two nights ago, there were txt msg to 2 #'s saying "I want to f*** with you" and "Is it too early to come make you breakfast?" He says he let his friend use his phone. This does sound like his "friend". My husband DOES NOT cook. But I am having doubts because the #'s were saved in the phone. Why wouldn't he just erase it all???

The car was taking a minute to start, but I drove it anyway. I stopped at a garage sale and it wouldn't start back up. The guy who was running the garage sale helped a little, he opened up the battery and it was super corroded. It looked like a half inch of crystals were growing all over the connections. He poured baking soda and water all over it, and it helped. He couldnt get the cables off the battery. (My husband says that he never touched it because it still worked, even though it looked bad) The cables are a little short, so I dont think I can cut them and put another battery in.
We jumped the car and it started, but about 10 seconds after we removed the cables the car died. We tried that twice.
The guy finally drove me and my baby home, now I have to figure out what to do.
I could try to replace the battery myself, but I dont know how to get the cables off.
Towing is really expensive.
It is a 2000 ford focus (yes- i know that is my problem!)
What do I do?

it all in the garbage. Items like cards, banks, statues, ornaments, books, etc. I don't think anyone would buy a cat pez dispenser on ebay and it wouldn't be worth the mailing price. What should I do with it all? It's making me sick thinking of trashing it.

Mumbled phrase in song 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins?
In the song "1979" by the smashing pumpkins theres a mumbled line thats repeated throughout the song, kindof like an echo in the background. I know this is probably way off but the closest I can make out it seems like the voice is saying "ten of me".

Does anyone know what this correct line is? BTW I have checked lyric sites but every lyrics page for the song that I've seen don't have the line I'm referring to.
