I asked a questions entitled "Any Pastafarians here?" and I was told that it was abuse. Pastafarianism is a religion with over 18 million believers with views that don't offend anyone unlike other religions. (to Homosexuals etc). Please tell me what was wrong with this question?

I had an answer deleted because someone asked what they should do when their friend asked them to come with them to a Hindu Temple....He wanted to know what God thought so I said do what it says in the Bible, **** Him.....

Deuteronomy 13:6-10

I guess I would have felt bad had he taken my advice, especially since I am an atheist. I just thought it would be a good way to show him the extremity of the Bible and allow him to begin thinking for himself rather than doing what religion says.

Henderson proposed many of the beliefs in reaction to common arguments by proponents of intelligent design.[16]

The canonical beliefs of Flying Spaghetti Monsterism are set forth by Henderson in the Open Letter,[2] the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and on Henderson's web site,[17] where he is described as a "prophet."

The central belief is that there is an invisible and undetectable Flying Spaghetti Monster, which created the entire universe "after drinking heavily."[13] All evidence for evolution was planted by the Flying Spaghetti Monster, in an effort to test Pastafarians' faith; a form of the Omphalos hypothesis. When scientific measurements, such as radiocarbon dating, are made, the Flying Spaghetti Monster "is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage."[2]

The Pastafarian belief of heaven stresses that it contains beer volcanoes and a stripper factory.[18] Hell is similar, except that the beer is stale and the strippers have VD.[19]

The religious text of the Pastafarian religion is called the Loose Canon. In place of the Ten Commandments, it contains the Eight I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts, which is arguably a somewhat looser moral code. The Flying Spaghetti Monster created the trees, a mountain, a midget, and Nicholas J. Hay. He also created Cristine Lint and told her the gospel of his Noodly Appendage.

The official conclusion to prayers is "RAmen", contained in certain sections of The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and so on. It is a portmanteau of the Semitic term "Amen" (used in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and Ramen, a noodle. While it is typically spelled with both a capital "R" and "A", it is also acceptable to spell it with only a capital R.

that's great...silly though.

I have no idea why it was removed. But are you sure you weren't referring to Rastafarians? Pastafarians believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Maybe some people are allergic to omnipotent starch.

***edit***: Ah, Pastafarian it is, then. Be warned--you've been "starred" by at least a couple of people who look to be anti-Pastafarian. The noodle naysayers are watching you!

Yahoo removes every question that's reported here without asking why.
I know of six people here who daily reports questions that they don't like. It's a big joke for them.
Yahoo needs better policemen on the beat.

Ah, you got a bunch of people reporting it and the moderators of this site didn't check up on the question before deleting it. I'm sure they get tons of reports and since it's the weekend, they might have even had a few beers and decided to just delete whatever got reported.

Nothing. Mentally inept people will continue to report even the most innocent questions en masse because they get hurt by words on the internet.

What ever happened to sticks and stones?

I really think that pretty much anything that gets reported gets removed. I doubt the Yahoo hall monitors are even English speakers.

I'm a Christian and it doesn't bother me in the least. But , if I were a betting man , I'd say whoever complained were Evangelicals.
