My personal belief is that there is no draft. I come out of the 60's anti war movement. I have even seen my FBI file. Regardless, the facts of Viet Nam were more akin to WWII then to Iraq, the difference being, the baby boomers, and then many of there parents believed in "Hell no we won't go". In the Nam war, you friends, your brothers, had no choice to go to war. It was that or prison or Canada. Sure, there were those that yell baby killers at the vets coming home, but that was not the majority.
We hated the war, like most do now, but the military is a volunteer service now. Your brother went because he wanted to go into the service, as did you sister, your friend. You still want them home. You still fear for them, but you also know that your other brother, sister, son or daughter will not have to enlist. The emotions are not the same. It is sad. The death rate in Nam was also 10 times what it is in Iraq. If 200 Americans died each week in Iraq it would be over now.

The doctor had an idea, when Michael Jackson was in the hospital for his 50th nose job, he had an attack of appendictis and stayed over The doctor went to Michael's room. He said "Mr. Jackson, I don't know how to say this but it wasn't a burst appendix you had, you gave birth to a baby while you were here. He gave the baby to Michael. A few years later Michael's son "Towel" asked Michael if he was really his father. Michael said "I can't lie to you Towel, I'm not your father, I'm your mother" Towel said "Well who is my father then?" Michael said "How the hell should I know? Is is normal for a water heater to only be able to heat enough water for a 15 minute shower before it begins to get cold? What about 20 minutes? I live in a townhouse. When i first moved in i could take half an hour showers and now it starts to get cold at 15 minutes and is completely cold at 20... my landlord said it might have something to do with that i got a new shower head and it could be using a lot more water... should I demand it be replaced? I can live with 15 minute showers but I kind of feel like i'm getting scammed...

I'm an atheist, and I just read that you need to take two courses in Philosophy and Theology at Georgetown University. These courses seem interesting to me, so I wouldn't really mind having to take them (I think I'd actually enjoy it). Is this the only religion-oriented thing that is required of students? I wouldn't be required to go to services or observe any holidays, would I? And would there be a problem with being an atheist and going to Georgetown?

The economy is great, there is virtually no unemployment, interest rates are low, inflation is low, taxes are low, and we haven't been attacked since 9/11/2001.

Could things get any worse?

To find these, you need to find the limit as x->+/- inf,

My question is, how do you know if there will be a + and - answer, (e.g. a horizontal asymptote at y=+2 and -2)

Can someone show me an example of when there is only a positive answer, and one where there is a positive and negative answer?

Merry Meet, Brothers and Sisters.

Polytheism has been around longer than Monotheism, and is still about quite strongly. The very things that Monotheists -- especially Christians -- despise and say is false has outlasted their religion.

Let's face the facts, shall we? Christianity has been about for approximately 2000 years, if that long. But let's give then 2050 years, to be kind. So let's say it came about in 50 BCE. Judaism came about in approximately 2000 BCE, according to Jewish texts, but received the Ten Commandments and Torah in 1313 BCE. Atenism came about in 1300 BCE.

So, what about polytheism?

Polytheism dates all the way back to 24000-22000 BCE, thanks to Venus of Willendorf. If you don't know who and what that is, please learn a bit here: http://witcombe.sbc.edu/willendorf/willendorfdiscovery.html

If anything, you can consider that Norse Paganism dates back to about 9000 BCE,

If Monotheism is the best, why are all us Pagans still here?
