I KNOW my eyes get tired from looking at my Computer Screen too long...-So it's probably a VERY good idea to rest your eyes for awhile after every couple of hours... But as for long term "damage"... I don't think anybody really KNOWS- yet...

YES - But the flat screens less
Just move your eyes from the screen from time to time - and take some breaks

Not if your resolution is right. And by "right" I mean right for you. Some people prefer higher resolutions, some prefer lower. You've just got to set it so that you don't have to squint to see the screen at a comfortable distance. I have a ViewSonic VA2012wb 20" wide screen monitor; right now I'm about 30" from my screen and it's at a 1600x1024 resolution. When my wife uses my computer she complains about it being too small, but it's just right for me.

Yes, but the amount all depends on the type of monitor you have.

Needless to say, you need to have regular breaks from your computer every 90 minutes for 30 minutes (Those are work guideline recommendations) otherwise you will start to recieve health & possibly depression problems.

Me? Ive been at my computer for hours, but I think i'd look good with glasses...

actually it can put strain on your eyes, you are supposedly supposed to look away from the screen every 30mins/half hour for about 5 minutes
